Skirmish Solo

They allowed players to enter Skirmish solo in the last update, yes? Has anyone tried it?

Can enter with trusts actually.

Yeah I remember them adding that too. But i.e. for Yorcia, you'd have to run to the flowers to kill them leaving the cantonment undefended. Or would you just sit at Cantonment and live as long as you can? Suppose it wouldn't hurt to just jump in and screw around.

You technically don't need to kill any of the flowers.

Did not know that. Thought it lowered mob count from waves. :o

Ive soloed a few 333's & a 444 (as well as a lot of lower tiers) as sch/blm. For the higher tier fights youll have to kill at least some of the dens or else you'll get owned later. Use widescan before you leave the tent & make sure you got time then run to a den & hit it with a helix & a few nukes then just head back. I repeated that & finished the dens in the area & it was smooth sailing from there. For your first time, i suggest using the noetics to put up the stockades & after a try or 2 youll be able to go without them.

Can confirm that at least a 1/1/1 Yorcia is soloable w/ trusts as a melee job(was on NIN/DNC using Ulmia, Mumor and Ferreous Coffin) with a bit of difficulty on only really the last wave.

In between the first and second waves, I was able to kill the nearest flower and get up the Stockade(Noetic was at the closest position so a bit of luck there). And in between the second and third, I was able to kill the 2nd flower. I used Mikage due to the longer travel distance and finished shortly after the third wave started. Finished the 25 minutes with the Cantonment at 80%.

It should be a very easy duo or dual-box by 2 melee players. Having one focus on protecting the Cantonment and the other killing the flowers and getting the Noetic in the early stages.

Yorcia Skirmish 1/1/1 also solo able as GEO/RDM with 3 Whms Trust NPCs. Extremely easy to clear. The last stage may be a bit chaotic but you should not have any problem at all. Duo-trio with trust should be able to do 2/2/2 assuming your group knows what to do.

I solo Outer Ra'Ka body 4 and 5. Even if fen boons give you 1-2's you can still win. must be very prepared and have pretty good gear. I get both objectives done unless something freakish happens or I get lazy and slip up.

I suggest popping RR b4 you enter and having another RR scroll with you just in case. I solo cause I hate waiting on people...

there is almost no reason to do more then a 1-1-1. none of the stones from there are worth anything and you should be upgrading the gear to +1 anyways. no sense in wasting money when you still get the same armor regardless of the pop set used.

same goes for any skirmish where the non-gear drops are worthless.
