all zones listed have a rare drop already, wtf
They added them to existing caskets so could be any of the gov zones. Tried shrine, den, and temple with no luck on any of those.
I believe that is the assumption. Right?
Did they say the new torques will specifically come from caskets? It better not be something easy like a RoE reward, gogo subjugate sky gods!

So we should farm zones that already have crafting torques as unique drops? AKA Smithy/boneworkers/Tanners/Alchemists because *** fishing and chocobo/field torques haha. They were pretty specific about where to find them if that were the case...
I'm beginning to think more and more that they are in the old zones. AFAIK nobody is farming old zones ......would explain why not 1 single torque has been reported yet. I'm gonna go try Temple of Uggy with a mule. Ill keep my main in SSG just in case. Ive opened what seems like 1000 chests now in SSG. I'd have left by now but Leather torque took me almost 17 hours and Smithing torque I quit counting after 20hours.

Either way, I'm going to try farming for an Alchemist's Torque because I've been too lazy before (and since my server doesn't have Mystery boxes active). 10gil says I'll come across one of the new torques instead XD

My thoughts exactly.(insert temply of uggy for bone torque instead)
Ok, spent all of 10 mins in Temple of Uggy on mule and got boneworkers torque. Frustration is setting in for sure now.

And I just got a bomblet. FML.
At least you can sell that bomblet. I can do nothing with this torque unless sooner or later I need it for sub on my mule who's craft is WW :(

There is nothing in the patch notes to indicate that new torques were activated.... blah. willing to bet they aren't in, nor in the brown caskets. I did a Genbu RoE thinking one of the torques would drop, nope, just sparks.

Over 12 hours in Sea Serpent Grotto, no torque. Had capped everything for hours. Attained 50 different armor's, NOTHING rare/ex.
I zone in and i get a god damn rancorous mantle on my first kill. PS you cannot open the door from the back if you use the home point to warp in...

I'm gonna try another zone, something nobody has done as of yet....thinking Ranguemont Pass.
