If upgraded gear counts, I have Koga Tekko +2, which were +1, the second pair on Bismarck. Got NQ in my first xarc run, and the -1 a week later in my first bubu run. 2006 I think. Luckily I didn't need sea access to upgrade them, which was assumed at the time.

Haven't played in almost a year but it would be a piece of my RSE that I got back in the Spring of 2004. Awesome memories down there killing Skeletons at level 32 with my two buds trying to get keys and then waiting to open a chest (against many others) at the right time. Was very cool!

I don't really consider the starter gear applicable (that's just my opinion for my answer seeing as you don't need to do anything to obtain it, really) so I'd say my Astral Ring, 1/1 on Winged bcnm. Got it shortly after opening subjob with some random PUG group back in 2004? or 2005. Was a crazy noob success moment, and at the time I could have sold it for awesome starter cash, but it was too much of a trophy item for me to part with, and still is at any rate.

Funnest job I ever leveled, I was looking for upgrades every level. Even had 8 HQ staves in my bazzar as a little mini-BLM seeking outside of Crawlers' Nest. So many memories...
