I'm Pro-Gore, but only insofar as his VO work on Futurama is concerned.

I honestly didn't know Al Gore was human until I saw his VO stuff on Futurama. Shiva.Viciousss said: » This is my first post that mentions Al Gore. There are plenty of climate scientists that either don't endorse any specific cause or say that the research is too new to draw concrete conclusions, and I agree to some extent, but they are definitely in the extreme minority. I believe the the lord our Turtle keeps us on this flat earth and if we roll to the left hard enough we will fall into the netherverse. Find salvation in the Turtle or you will be forever damned to the netherverse. REPENT! Technically gravity does not exist.
Not sure what the big deal is. We are in the 5th ice age in Earth's history. We are right smack in the middle where an interglacial period is occuring, where glaciers/ice retreat at a rapid pace and eventually earth plummets back into extensive ice cover.
I'm not a climate change denier - I merely question that anything outside the norm is occuring. That's not "fearmongering" like Al Gore does. That is an Inconvenient Truth All the procedes from that film went to charity. That's not to say he isn't making money off some other aspect of it, but you're barking up the wrong tree. Any good liberal has to have a public connection to charity, even if it's only for show.

I'm sure he got a couple of million from "speaker fees" there. It's nice that he never released the full financials for the movie and shown how much of the money went to the charity of his choosing. That type of disclosure would be expected if anyone else but Al Gore made that statement.... Offline

I honestly figured David Suzuki would come under fire more than Al Gore for the blatant hypocrisy in contrast to fear mongering.
