Now this is good stuff:
http://www.politico.com/story/2015/09/donald-trump-rolling-stone-carly-fiorina-213477 Carly Fiorina has a theory for why Donald Trump felt free to remark on her physical appearance during an interview for a recent magazine story. On Wednesday, a Rolling Stone profile of the billionaire real estate mogul depicted an incident from Trump's private plane where he appeared to insult the former Hewlett-Packard executive's face. Paul Solotaroff writes in the profile: "Trump's expression sours in schoolboy disgust as the camera bores in on Fiorina. 'Look at that face!' he cries. 'Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!' The laughter grows halting and faint behind him. 'I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not s'posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?' I can only assume he was speaking ironically, or at least tongue-in-cheek, given all the feedback he gets about The Piece™.
More and more I'm convinced Trump is running as a piece of satirical commentary about our country and he keeps it going hoping that someone will eventually get the joke. But no one is. Offline

I really don't care if he insults Carly. In fact I hope he wasn't joking.

I'm just thinking he's too smart to not see the obvious problem with him making fun of someone's appearance. Not to mention various other obvious problems he's got going on with the idea of him being president. So I've come around to thinking he may actually a comedic genius in the vein of Andy Kaufman and he's taking it to an entirely new level. Edit: Though, in the same vein as Andy Kaufman, while I agree it's brilliant, I don't think it's all that funny and really it does a better job of exposing some terrible people as terrible more than it makes people who "get" it laugh. Everywhere I have lived, and this includes New York half a century ago, barbers would cut women's hair as long as it was a short cut. fonewear said: » Now this is good stuff: http://www.politico.com/story/2015/09/donald-trump-rolling-stone-carly-fiorina-213477 Carly Fiorina has a theory for why Donald Trump felt free to remark on her physical appearance during an interview for a recent magazine story. She forced and blackmailed institutional stockholders to accept a disastrous merger, lost 56% of the stock value, laid off 30,000 American workers, and was FIRED. When the firing was announced HP stock instantly bounced up $10. Is mentioning NY supposed to be meaningful..?
Barber shops are quietly disappearing here. It's kind of sad.
Ugh Hillary is not doing good in Iowa :( She needs to be more aggressive on Bernie.
If she doesn't win I'm voting Republican. -.- Vote Trump, that way USA can become Miss Nation.
Vote Trump just to see what he does, good or bad, just to see.
Valefor.Sehachan said: » Vote Trump, that way USA can become Miss Nation. Well there's still hope another GOP candidate like Marco Rubio or Carly Fiorina could win... err... I mean it could be worse- at least Trump isn't supporting Kim Davis lol MJ Article said: Fiorina became the poster-girl for an industry campaign aimed at blocking any legislation that would restrict a company's ability to can American employees in favor of workers overseas. She and executives from seven other tech companies issued a report that argued that any such measures would hurt the U.S. economy. The best way to increase American competitiveness, they declared, was to improve schools and, yes, reduce taxes. At a Washington press conference, Fiorina said, "There is no job that is America's God-given right anymore. We have to compete for jobs." Yeah, reason enough to tell her to get bent. Some even advertise "haircuts only" as in, "no facial hair trimming or shaving." What the hell good is a barber who doesn't know how to professional wrangle a beard? You're just a hair stylist then! Give back the red-and-white pole! I don't have a problem with that link you posted. Employers should have the ability to terminate employees for overseas employees. Especially with extreme liberals like Sanders trying to raise the minimum wage, companies need to make some profit. They don't go into business solely for the good of the economy... There's always 3rd party candidates. Yea the lack of real barber shops is disappointing. I'm lucky to have one. Most are stylists that don't do a good job normally. They always rush my haircut. The barber I go to takes her time for a nice cut.
I could go for a nice shave and a haircut.
May try that this weekend. Valefor.Sehachan said: » That's bs. Hairdressers are gender specific here too..where I go it's only for women, where my dad goes it's only for men. Trump is extremely appealing to the people who don't understand the intricacies of governance, diplomacy, and anything more difficult than running a CNC lathe.
"Kick out immigrants!" "Buy 'merican!" "Bomb the brown people into submission!" These are concepts that are extremely attractive to people who don't invest in things like dental care or contraceptives. To quote one of the songsters most representative of this demographic, "We'll put a boot in your ***, it's the American way."
