You want a better idea of my stance on issues, look at my post history instead. Just because I agree with [some of] the issues like Oliver and Stewart bring up does not mean I agree with the common mainstream liberal solutions. EDIT: Just for fun I'd love to see you guess at my exact stance on every issue, tell me what kind of car I drive, the music I listen to, and especially my home decor. By "you" I meant anyone that wears that silly hipster pseudointellectual costume that John Oliver wears. Ah... yeah I was a little confused at first. I had this thought too, but I don't think he's saying he can do that for everyone, just for that particular "look". It'd be impressive to see anyone gauge exactly anything about me by how I dress/look. Shiva.Nikolce said: » keg stands for jesus Jesus is more a Wine and Tapas kinda guy.

Quote: Meadows’ resolution didn’t hold back. It states that Boehner tried to “consolidate power and centralize decision-making, bypassing the majority of the 435 members of Congress and the people they represent.” It accuses the speaker of using the “legislative calendar to create crises for the American people, in order to compel members to vote for legislation.” The resolution also charges Boehner with using the Rules Committee to limit amendments. The “Speaker has, through inaction, caused the power of Congress to atrophy, thereby making Congress subservient to the Executive and Judicial branches, diminishing the voice of the American People,” it reads. “Whereas the Speaker uses the power of the office to punish Members who vote according to their conscience instead of the will of the Speaker.” GOP in total dysfunction, as usual. k
You hate Boehner, but when someone stands up to him it's "total dysfunction"? I would have liked to see Democrats with the juevos to stand up to Reid/Pelosi.
Uh yeah, its complete dysfunction, considering its never been done before, and it comes right before a month long recess, oh and there has still been no vote on the highway bill that has to pass in the next two days in both chambers.

So, it's crappy Congress as usual, with a slight twist? Stop being a partisan hack and praise people for fighting against the type of scum that has led both aisles Congress over the past several years. I say we shake things up a bit, it's not like the approval rating of Congress can get much lower. Maybe if he actually had organized this "revolt" he would earn some praise. However this is a complete waste of time, he doesn't have the votes because he didn't even talk about it with other people. He just went out there and called for a resolution against Boehner out of the blue, its not even going to get 50 votes and it will just make Boehner stronger.
Maybe, but symbolic gestures can sow the seeds of discontent and embolden others. That's being optimistic of course, but you never know.

Someone took out my mailbox a few years ago, so I replaced it. 2 weeks later I got a letter from the HOA demanding I replace it with the standard mailbox required by the HOA regulation. Turns out the standard black mailbox I bought had a red latch, not a black one... Such petty BS. Michael Bay is directing (I think that's his role) a movie about Benghazi called 13 hours. Neat.
