I don't know what intrinsic means I think it means delicious.
Sort of.
I mean people need to stop worrying about how much money they think they need and enjoy life as is. Stop having kids if you can't afford it. Enjoy your job and take pride in the work you do, even if it's frying up the best damn french fries known to man. Stop trying to living up to someone else's expectations. And stop buying things you don't need with money you don't have to pay it off. You don't need to one up anyone by buying a more expensive one or even the same thing. Oh, and stop worrying about how much money other people have! It's that easy. Also I find it funny in a way that just less than a year ago people were demanding they get $15/hr minimum wage and it was a must have situation to live. Ok, now they just got that and it's still not enough?!
But that was their whole argument and what they demanded not too long ago! They were literally protesting for that $15/hr and made their whole case for that amount specifically. People, man! /facepalm What's next? Smartphones are a human right? Poverty is defined as having a TV that's less than 32"? Brand new $20,000+ cars are a human right that should be subsidized by the government? Leviathan.Chaosx said: » Take pride in your work and it'll be its own reward. Quote: Patience is a virtue. Lakshmi.Flavin said: » fonewear said: » Speaking of racism you guys see that black woman kill herself after being arrested ? I don't care but the media sure does ! Basically the woman got arrested for resisting arrested then she killed herself. The media is in an uproar because the cop was white and she is black. They act like the cop killed her or something. http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2015/07/21/much-too-early-to-call-jail-cell-hanging-death-of-sandra-bland-suicide-da-says/ The family wants an investigation because the woman has no appearant history of depression or suicide attempts and was down in the area to start a new job. That and the 20 minutes or so when she died appear to be the only 20 minutes that aren't on tape. But go ahead spout your random *** nonsense like you always do without actually having a clue in your head and reducing it to just race and moving on... There should most certainly be an outside investigation into all of this. While I think the threat of force was excessive, I still don't see how the police are responsible for her suicide. One overreaction does not warrant another. My first though was, what movie did someone decided to start shooting people at?
Quote: A gunman opened fire at a movie theater in Lousiana on Thursday night, killing at least one person and injuring at least six others before shooting himself, officials said. The shooting took place at the Grand Theatre in the city of Lafayette, said Clay Henry, vice president of operations for Acadian Ambulance. Henry said eight people were brought to the hospital and that two, including the gunman, were pronounced dead on arrival. Henry said emergency workers got the call to go to the theater about 7:30 p.m. He did not immediately have any additional information. The Daily Advertiser quoted City Marshal Brian Pope as saying that the shooter turned the gun on himself after firing at the others, and that six people were injured. The shooting happened about 20 minutes into a 7 p.m. showing of the movie "Train Wreck," according to the newspaper, which quoted theatergoer Katie Domingue. Oh an Amy Schumer movie in which she has 'made promiscuity her credo.' Well that's definitely a new response to her humor. Usually it's either feminists that think she's funny cause she's a woman or people who say she's not funny at all. This guy apparently had a different reaction. Race? (Meaning was the race of shooter immediately released) Quote: "We heard a loud pop we thought was a firecracker," Domingue told the newspaper. Domingue said she saw "an older white man" standing up and shooting down into the theater, but not in her direction. "He wasn't saying anything. I didn't hear anybody screaming either," Domingue said. Welp, that answers that. Garuda.Chanti said: » They got their raise then the landlords and the supermarkets took it away. Offline

A cat or Hillary pretty sure the cat is more likeable...

Given the frequent correlation between poor mentally unstable individauls and petty crime, and police too frequently responding to it inappropriately, I don't think a serious overhaul of police training and methodology in the handling of suspects is unwarranted. No they may not have directly caused her suicide, but more appropriate handling of the person may have prevented it, and their excessive force certainly could have helped trigger it. And a far more stringent process of ensuring suspects are properly treated wouldn't hurt. Police brutality hurts everyone, including other officers. Offline
