Random Politics & Religion #00
Still came from infowars.
Are you denying that? dude! infowars is the ***. That's where I get all my up-to-date information and news
No one is going to take issue with Fox News using infowars as a source? ok then...
Infowars: War/fear-mongering yellow journalism at it's finest.
Lakshmi.Flavin said: » No one is going to take issue with Fox News using infowars as a source? ok then... If you want to invalidate Fox News because they used infowars as a source, I'm sure I can find that every single media outlet used them as a source, are you going to invalidate them also? Uses infowars as a tool to invalidate a poster... Calls him Flower Head (this insult? still makes no sense) because of it...
Fox News gets a pass. Excuses are made. Yes. Please go find us examples of every media source using infowars. Lakshmi.Flavin said: » Uses infowars as a tool to invalidate a poster... As for the examples: Here's one from MSN Here's a transcript of a CNN broadcast Washington Post Heck, an even more recent one from Washington Post New York Times loves infowars.com Let's not forget your absolute favorite source, Huffington Post. Shall I go on? Asura.Kingnobody said: » Shall I go on? 3 minutes, you certainly looked at those sources closely, didn't you?
Ok, I'll let you decide which media outlets that I can show you that they use a source, I already shown the important and influential ones, and I shown Huffington Post did it too. Or are you being obtuse to the point I made, where everyone uses everyone else as a source, including lunatic sources like infowars.com. the only news source that matters
you *** are boring the crap out of me. fight about something else! You shown?
I'm more surprised that you actually went and looked for it lol... No, I didn't look at them at all and I don't know why you'd think I would... I was just seeing how much time you'd actually waste for no reason at all... So why does a poster join the "flower head" legion for pointing out a fox article that links people to an infowars map but media somehow gets a pass because "everyone does it"? Lakshmi.Flavin said: » You shown? I'm more surprised that you actually went and looked for it lol... No, I didn't look at them at all and I don't know why you'd think I would... I was just seeing how much time you'd actually waste for no reason at all... But hey, maybe I want to show that I am making an example. You notice that some of my arguments are "you make the claim, you prove it yourself, I'm not doing your research for you"? Well, I made the claim, so I proved it. It's called showing respect to the other posters by backing what I state. Which oddly enough, I'm one of the very few here who does so often. I wouldn't expect you to do so, but you cannot call me a hypocrite for demanding sources for statements but never give any myself. (inb4 "that's not what that word means" excuse you like to use) Lakshmi.Flavin said: » So why does a poster join the "flower head" legion for pointing out a fox article that links people to an infowars map but media somehow gets a pass because "everyone does it"? But I was asked to not refer to Vic as "flower head" so I'm not anymore. I guess you missed the memo. except nobody even remembers what the original argument was even about because you wasted so much typing on stupid ***... and names that don't make any fuggin sense.
Here's a better name... "Vickhead" You can google image search the map and it pops up on a multitude of conservative pants-wetter sites. I know you desperately need these minor victories but you're trying to hard.
I think the best thing about that post is that you think you show respect to other posters here... or that you're some kind of good example...
Actually you said Asura.Kingnobody said: » I can find that every single media outlet used them as a source Did that pat on the back from yourself feel good? I'd say the whole thing in TX is pretty ridiculous infowars map or not especially since the governor is wasting resources for no appearant reason to appease, what seems to be a minority (hopefuly), of Texas residents. You just seem to get exteremely defensive when ever anyone mentions texas in a way you don't like lol... I'd be pissed off in a hot land with no basements too.
Sorry, I meant every single major media outlet. I didn't think you would be so literal, but then again, I forgot who I'm dealing with.

Back up your statement again then... Show us all where the governor of a state used state defense forces to oversea a military exercise because a part of the citizenry was paranoid that the federal government was training to take over their state and enforce martial law. I'm not desperate at all to paint TX in a bad light... that's your reactionary defensive nature taking hold every time someone says somethign about the state that you don't seem to agree with... you seem to be so blinded by your "texan pride" or whatever you might call it that you seem to be able to give a pass on anything. Lakshmi.Flavin said: » You still haven't hit that quota either! Get on it or the reputation you gave yourself might be tarnished... But then again, you are just going to say "that's not what I meant" or "it's a rhetorical question/satire" or "you don't know what that word means" or some other deflection excuse you love to use. Asura.Kingnobody said: » So, try again? Asura.Kingnobody said: » I can't do that. For one thing, that event hasn't happened yet. Now, if you can ask if a state governor uses a state defense force to oversee a military exercise, then sure, I can do that. I'll wait for you to ask me first though. Asura.Kingnobody said: » Maybe you should read the second quote I quoted you writing. But then again, you are just going to say "that's not what I meant" or "it's a rhetorical question/satire" or "you don't know what that word means" or some other deflection excuse you love to use. It seems ilke the only thing you've ever had is to rely on telling people they try to deflect or dodge or call em a hypocrite because there's no substance to anything you actually post. Asura.Kingnobody said: » In mudslinging news: The Hill tries to tie Jeb Bush to porn industry ... So, media is trying to tie Bush to the porn industry by any means possible. Kara would be proud at the logical leaps this article makes. Religious people got mad, sent emails. He admits the company rents out porn movies and states he's doing it because it is profitable stock and he is obligated to do this for tax payers. Religious people were upset about it when it happened, sent more emails, and started a petition. Saying he's affiliated with the porn industry, not so much. Saying he invested and helped the state profit from a company that supports the XXXindustry would be accurate. Better article This isn't "the media" tying him to the porn industry. This was certain religious groups tying him to the porn industry. Lakshmi.Flavin said: » All of them. Hop to it! Lakshmi.Flavin said: » Even politicians and people in your own state are ridiculing the governors response to this and yet here you are... Texas pride appearantly means sticking your head in the dirt and making excuses for everything. Title of the article in question from the Hill: Quote: Did Jeb Bush invest taxpayer money in porn? I'll admit, the one group that was vocal about it did tie the stock purchase to pornography, and did so by logical leaps. But you know what? This happened back in and up until 2006. Why is the Hill bringing it up now? Mudslinging, plain and simple. Bahamut.Kara said: » Religious people were upset about it when it happened, sent more emails, and started a petition. Asura.Kingnobody said: » opinion Hey now, we don't use that 7-letter word around here. Opinions are the sole domain of people who disagree with you and facts are everything that support your view. Get with the P&R lingo, man. Asura.Kingnobody said: » I already named all of the major media outlets that I look at, and Huffington Post too. Why are you so against posting what you consider a major media outlet? Asura.Kingnobody said: » Yeah, you still haven't proved that he is doing this to appease the voices of a few. Asura.Kingnobody said: » You are implying that Governor Abbot is doing just that. Also, finish your words. Assuming that you mean "paint" and not "pain" Are you really going to get on other people for a typing error? lol... Asura.Kingnobody said: » You keep failing to even prove any of your points or present a counter argument to any of my points. Or even answer my questions. It's not mudslinging to discuss something that just came to light. Just because something happened in 2006 doesn't make it not discussion worthy now. Relevant, eh. I think his response and reasoning to the parties involved was very relevant. I find that to be very interesting as a voter. Unlike the current TX governor he didn't back down to pressure from a small, but vocal minority. I guess you don't think anything from Clintons past before 2006 is relevant either? Or whatever other "opposite" candidates are presented in the next year. So, probably not. It's too late... everyone already has a picture in their head of Jeb and W partying at a strip club and doing lines of blow off one of the dancer's butts while "making it rain" with fistfulls of tax payer dollars. and wearing their ties like headbands and playing air guitar covers of "free bird"

I am disappoint. And here I had gained a little respect for them. |
