I liked singing the childhood mocking version "this land is my land" with lines like "if you don't get off, I'll blow your head off, this land was made for only me"

Did you feel well-rested yesterday? Were you treated with respect all day yesterday? Did you smile or laugh a lot yesterday? Did you learn or do something interesting yesterday? Did you experience a lot of the following feelings during the day yesterday? How about enjoyment? Venezuela is beautiful this time of year !
With all the rain and so on ! It's unclear to me which thing is the problem here, in your eyes. Personally I think it's stupid to recite the pledge at all, but I don't think anyone wants to go too far into that argument right now. I don't think it's inherantly offensive to recite the pledge in Arabic. I would like to think, however, that teachers might have the forsight to realize the closed-mindedness and touchiness of people and would head it off at the pass, however, as a matter of problem avoidance. I do think demanding apologies on behalf of veterans is a bit much. They didn't fight a war in "Arab". Leviathan.Chaosx said: » Columbia - 84 Offline

I'd make a joke about them slowly invading for the last 30 years, but there's actually been negative Mexican immigration over the last 10 years, so...
