I can summarize government in one phrase:
"Can't someone else do it ?" Offline

So are the republicans.
Well, every politician is, really. Since they only want the people to vote for them. And only them. Not even for their other party members. So there *is* a chance Lordgrim could become supreme ruler or "Fearless Leader"... Rocky and Bullwinkle style. Offline

I suggest we revert back to the Whig party. But mainly just wear wigs !
Picture unrelated ! Ragnarok.Nausi said: » You can't possibly believe that. Are you being serious or trolling? Again, I have a hard time telling. Do you have any idea how much white trash there is that buys into Republicans' ***, despite the fact they benefit the least from said ***? Lakshmi.Sparthosx said: » Lakshmi.Flavin said: » Is anyone actually in favor of taking away peoples voting rights? When you put it like that, no. Sure, we already have several classes of people who can't vote, it's not like there's no accepted justification for them either. I think less people should vote, for instance, if you can't show ID to prove who you are, you should be forbidden to vote. I assure you there's way more people out there who would vote for Hil-dog simply because she has a vagina, than these "gulible repubs' you seem to think are everywhere
The U.S. won't be able to handle another Democrat for President. It's barely chugging along with the current.

Half the country doesn't vote. Thats roughly 155+ million people that can vote but don't. Make them get out there and vote. Increase the amount of days our elections last (that would probably be required) to give people more opportunity to vote. Don't buy into nausi's fearmongering (not that anyone is).

The order of our system is Republican 2 terms Dem 2 terms repeat...forever !
Then you get some guy name Ross Perot trying to finish ! Let him finish damn it ! Ragnarok.Nausi said: » I assure you there's way more people out there who would vote for Hil-dog simply because she has a vagina, than these "gulible repubs' you seem to think are everywhere This could be a difference of perspective and anecdotal experiences, so I'm just going to let this one go and let you believe what you'd like because neither of us can "proove" anything here. But in my experience and people I've dealt with directly, far more people will vote Republican for the "family/religious values" and other "conservative" beliefs without having any actual idea what helps them directly or not. I know people who are on welfare, disability, and public housing who vote Republican because they think that Obama and his ilk are trying to take aware their benefits. Perot 2016 ! Asura.Kingnobody said: » Of course you don't mind forcing people into a decision they may or may not want to do. I mean, you are a full supporter of ACA.... You just oppose it because it was Obama's idea. Asura.Kingnobody said: » So Vic, how are those kneepads treating you? For those who denied that Obama was willing to take that away back in 2010, how do you plea now? Offline

I always knew Obama didn't believe in the first amendment. So what did you mean then when you said that his attitudes towards Bibi are pretty good indicators of his priorities then? A few examples of Obama's dislike for Israel. |
