I remember when I first went to vote, I even brought my SS card with me. I was surprised when they didn't check IDs. I thought, how legit can this be?

How is making someone show their ID to vote wrong again?

Because the underlying motive has nothing to do with ID. And voter fraud is damn near unheard of. You can't even get people to show up for local races if you begged them!

What's the underlying motive? A fair and level voting system?

Hold on lemme get my popcorn....

What world do you live in where getting a photo ID any form of photo ID is tough ?

It isn't for me.

For some people, however, it is.

Also, let's forget for a moment that facile argument.

I have been the past few times I've voted. It's "optional", but I don't really mind.

Like I said, I'm all about ID'ing voters.

Just make sure you're giving them the government-issued ID they need without ridiculous charges involved (not just for the ID, but for trying to get copies of birth records if they don't have them, etc.)

Seriously, I get what you're saying and why you're saying it, it's just a very, very limited mindset thinking it's as easy for everyone as it is for you.

According to the article, fraud is so easy that's it's essentially "undetectable", as in someone pointing out that it isn't ever cited is meaningless as it goes on undetected all the time.

If we have a nationally popular vote, all the perpetrators of voter fraud need to do, is to set up shop in a very small handful of large cities and just pump out the fraud. Instead of today where contested states are the "battleground" and there is at least some degree of awareness.
So you're essentially creating a problem based on a lack of evidence. Is there an incessant, primal need for you to be scared of something that you feel the need to do this?

Now prove fraud is happening. Or how having ID will squash this fraud.

It's not like they fabricated the story though.

Those are literally just the four most readily-available links I found on a quick google search.

For instance, I hate Glen Beck, but everyone once in a blue moon, the little *** reports some actual facts.

"Pump out the fraud"

I'll have to remember at my next communist meeting to tell all my comrades that our plan next election is to bus in hundreds of immigrants to poison the election. Then we'll open up gay ice cream shoppes in small American towns specializing in converting children to gayism. All while a chorus of black guys steal all the jobs.

One of these days I'm going to figure out if you actually understand all the nuances and you're a terrible person, or if you just actually believe what your conservative masters tell you and you're just an ignorant person.

I don't know about Brazil, as a non-extradition country can't really be trusted imo, but as for the other three, I'm willing to bet it's really easy and free to get said ID. ^^

Oh I know. But to still be on the same one that is over 60 years old when you weren't even alive when that was going on...

I dunno. I really like Led Zeppelin, and they disbanded before I was born.

Maybe he just feels like he missed out?
