McConnell delays Loretta Lynch confirmation

So, back in November, the Republicans were more than happy to say goodbye to Eric Holder, but I guess they really aren't in a hurry to show him the door. Mitch McConnell has decided that the Senate can confirm other nominees while debating a bill, but not Loretta Lynch. All because his party added an abortion poison pill to a human trafficking bill that would have (and still will) pass overwhelmingly, probably 100-0, without said poison pill. Its not rocket science, but it is the Republicans here. Oh and the debt ceiling expired today, Congress did nothing.

The bill still will pass if the Democrats allowed a vote. Democrats prove time and time again that they will obstruct everything in Congress and cede all power to President Obama. I am not surprised that the party of segregation and the party of slavery and the party of poverty, the Democrats, would also obstruct a human trafficking bill with the demand that federal dollars go to the elimination of "undesirable" offspring. As usual the Democrats are on the wrong side of History.

Found a better mascot for all the politicians:

They're never good news wherever they show up, and no matter how many of them you get rid of, there's always more coming to *** up your day.

Pols are necessary evil. Unless you're all advocating a totalitarian dictatorship or anarchism of one flavor or another.

Maybe if the public stopped drinking the family values and good churchgoer nonsense and looked at the persons record we'd elect less ***.

Getting money out of politics would go a long, long, long way to fixing our problems in this regard, but chances of that are roughly zero.

That said, we were just looking for symbols, you know? So I figured I'd throw my nomination out there.

Money's always been in politics. The old ways involved lots of 'vote for me, ill get you a job!' patronage type deals.

The problem right now is polarization, an intellectual race to the bottom on platforms, a lack of Congressional leadership during a crucial moment in American history and a voter apathy.

At least in 1850 when you said some dumb ***out your mouth it wasn't going to be recorded for all to facepalm.

Then you write a book about how unfair life is and how you want to change a country's political structure.
Then you organize a group of thugs followers in a bar together to create the new political party.
Then you take over the country's government by "legitimate" means.
Then you declare yourself dictator and promise a purge of undesirables.
Then you take over your neighboring country in a fast-paced blitz of military resources.
Then you get your 2 biggest buddies to declare war against the rest of the world with you.
Then you get your *** handed to you, which then you commit suicide next to your current lover of the month.
Then you get Godwin'd.

You forgot the part where you try to invade Russia during winter up against a guy who specializes in zerg tactics.

Also, Lordgrim. Pen and paper, time to voice our grievances. I'm think Mein Liberties has a nice, nostalgic ring to it.

He fell victim to one of the classic blunders. He got involved in a lander war in (Eur)Asia.
