It doesn't now? <insert Nausi outraged face about immigrants here>
And there's the good ol predictable progressive meme, One must be xenophobic if they wish their country to have a border.

That's nothing compared to the 1800s up to 1940.

Yeah, think of when all those illegal immigrants came into the lands of the natives. Bad times.

In fairness, they weren't really "native" either, they just immigrated first.

Used the word cause figured indians would be confused with the phone center kind, and I honestly only know a few tribe names.

Well, pretty much everyone that came afterward did more or less act like a bag of *** toward them.

Frankly, if disease hadn't been against them they probably would have managed to repel most subsequent arrivals for much, much longer.

Eh. I just always felt that while many consider "Indian" offensive (and I can see why to point), "native American" is a misnomer as well.

I'm not really arguing for Nausi's point here, just historical accuracy.

And there isn't an established nation in the world with a kind and gentle history when reported accurately. As much as many "long-established" European nations like to pretend the United States alone has an ugly history, most of them have their own closets bursting at the seems with skeletons.

You know they frequently acted like *** to each other while we were around to record it in history. What makes you think they treated each other any differently BEFORE we ever got here?

I never claimed such. Though I actually do think there was one around India, they were pretty advanced too but thought weapons were bad. Of course they were wiped out.

What was their name again..

So, last night I was listening to Coast to Coast AM because it's hilarious. One of the callers went on a rant about fluoride in the water system. He claims that the reason the government put it in there was because fluoride shuts off our ability to psychically connect with the aliens. That's probably the best argument against fluoride that I've heard in a while.

Coast to Coast AM is the ***. It's like listening to FFXIAH on the radio complete with people dead serious they know what the *** they're talking about while the host filters and bottles the crazy.

Psychic vampires and time traveling aliens are my personal faves.

Yeah, and the same white settlers frequently treated each other like *** too.

So I'd say that makes it even in that regard.

I'm just wondering if there was one central place where we just sprang to being, and everywhere else, we are all one big pile of immigrants.

I'm happy being an African American. Even though my skin says otherwise.

My soul is black. That is what counts.
