So, last night I was listening to Coast to Coast AM because it's hilarious. One of the callers went on a rant about fluoride in the water system. He claims that the reason the government put it in there was because fluoride shuts off our ability to psychically connect with the aliens. That's probably the best argument against fluoride that I've heard in a while.

Don't sound too happy, Alt. I can almost feel your glee from here.

That's also a weird choice from the article to copy/paste.

I would have gone with this one.

If you, a family member or anyone is unemployed and has subsequently given up on finding a job -- if you are so hopelessly out of work that you've stopped looking over the past four weeks -- the Department of Labor doesn't count you as unemployed.

Do you know what he is talking about, or are you just agreeing with him because it sounds smart?

I bet you couldn't even tell us the differences between structural, frictional, or cyclical unemployment, can you?

Anyone (well, minus you and Lordgrim, apparently) can verify the way the official unemployment rate is measured through a basic google search: Unemployment (BLS)

And all unemployment statistics are published by the BLS: Table A-15. Alternative measures of labor underutilization

Ta-da!

The article makes it sound like this information is hidden away or untrue somehow. It's not. People just can't be bothered to look it up then act offended because they weren't spoon-fed everything in easily digestable pieces.

You should be nicer to poor ole lordgrim, at least he doesn't drink the obama cool-aid and think democrats are all knowing creatures that have been voted into office by well-informed individuals. Just sayin.. you probably have more in common then differences.

This actually made me lol.. You honestly think the majority of the people that vote know this.. I mean really, come on.. Oh wait.. You believe pretty much anything the democrats tell you. I'm actually shocked you didn't make a rude comment for once.

You want to point out exactly where in that article it says he just found out about it.. I swear you guys are being dense on purpose.

And you're just dense naturally.

Serious political discussion is beyond your tinfoil hat.

While the majority of people aren't spoon-fed information as you seem to demand they should be (government dependency 101), the information is there, and readily accessible to anyone with an inkling of where to start.

I also find it rather enlightening to see how quickly you turn on a fellow conservative, when he's done crackpot ***, and insinuating that he's drunk from the fountain of Obama-flavored Kool-Aid, the way you two (Altima and Lordgrim) have bathed in the "Truth and Justice" Kool-Aid that utterly destroy countless American lives and businesses by actively trying to dissolve the FRS, then claim in the same forum to be for "Family", when it's really a matter of refusing to pay taxes that pretty much funds the Military, Social Security, Infrastructure, and so on.

However, in Altima's case, he ran his family business into the ground, then blamed the government. After blaming the government for his financial and business shortcomings (oh, there's that personal accountability being pawned off when it doesn't suit the narrative of leaving people to fend for themselves for bad practices and decisions) demands the same government, GIVE HIM MONEY which comes from sources like Social Security, which is overseen by the FRS.

It's also amazing how critical KN has been of the democrats, and of Obama in particular, more than anyone else on these forums, yet now he's a liberal democrat Kool-Aid drinking socialist commie because he doesn't agree.

Just how many tinfoil hats are you wearing, and are you seriously wearing blinders.

I'm actually thinking of separating Nausi from you guys at this point as he seems to argue a point better and with more solid information.
