You don't get that kind of success being lazy. You don't get that kind of success asking for people to camp for you or lead events for you. You get that success being a leader. Something you nver were or you'd understand where I'm coming from. I didn't earn my place on Lakshmi by being a lazy bum. I earned it by trusting in my people and giving them hundreds of hours of time dedicated to their causes. Sparth, you need a shot of whiskey.

I made alot of people very wealthy during my run as a senior linkshell officer and if I had to do it again I'd probably do even better. With 3 HNMLS' under my belt not only did I master everything put before me but consistently delivered results. I made the SE publications. I lead over 120 members from around the world. I built relics. I led Dynamis. Lazy people don't farm Salvage to gear people in Ares/Morrigan and Marduk. Lazy people don't attend fanfests and talk to Tanaka to his face. You don't know me. Just because you were too lazy to lead and instead took handouts, now you're acting like you did something. It was people like me, leaders who made XI what it'll be remembered for. Mock my main account, I've had alot of haters along the way. But the people who I helped have nothing but good things to say about me. And you can take that to the bank. My jimmes they are rustled !

If I ever talk about ffxi in real life I should have the work dork branded to my forehead.
First date: Woman So what do you do for fun? Me: I normally stand around Port Jeuno looking for a Sinister Reign shout. If that doesn't happen I farm merit points in Escha Zi Tah so I can work on an afterglow for my relic. Woman: Check please.

Leadership is resume worthy.
Dedication to goals is resume worthy. Ability to follow through on goals and quantify results is resume worthy. I'm sorry that years of bitterness eats at you guys because you leeched off linkshells for drops but I made alot of people very wealthy and that's worth saying time and time again. The servers may not be what they used to be, the old days may be gone but the spirit of hardwork and dedication aren't going anywhere. Make excuses all you want, those relics, that dynamis, those principles on which FFXI made its name on aren't going anywhere and any employer would be lucky to get someone who believes in helping their co-workers, sets goals and is accountable. |
