He lost my vote when he went anti-vax.

He never had my vote, but he'd have lost it long before that.
I think he is a strong leader, one of the strongest in the world right now.

His stance on gay people, his xenophobia, his support of a mass-murdering dictator, and his anti-vax rhetoric would keep me from actively supporting him, but you cannot deny that he is a strong leader. Better than certain current US presidents.

Edit: Nobody saw that.

Stalin was a strong leader...
True. We may not agree with their ideologies, but you cannot deny their strength.

The point being, simple strength is not necessarily an asset.

Being a strong leader helps more than hurts. At least, it keeps the leader from being overthrown, at least until s/he stops being a strong leader.

I highly doubt Merkel will stop being a world leader herself either. Nor Putin. Both of them command too much respect for their countries and the world itself.

Turns out that not only did the democrat mayor know about the lead in the water, the EPA told him about it in April! They also failed to disclose it to the public that Flints water was/is toxic!

Bernie and Hilary must have either "forgot" about those little facts or they are just pandering to the low information voters, i.e. democrats.

The only one big enough to take some responsibility and act on this crisis is a republican governor and he is getting blamed for it. Priceless!

They are shameless disgusting people. Hillary also said the Republican governor did not care because the victims were predominantly black. There is no limit to how low Democrats will sink.

And if you point it out to them about it?

You will be called a denier racist homophobic misogynist evil corporatist.

Communist Dictatorship or Capitalist Oligarchy, what difference to the people getting the shaft?

Funny how the extremes end up remarkably similar.

I thought Obama was tiresome but with Bernie Sanders I can't stand even listening to 20 seconds of him on TV/interweb etc.

Yet you don't tire of Trump's rhetoric?

Interesting. (Truly.)

Frankly I'm even tired of Sanders to some degree, let alone the rest of the mess. Which was predictable, because even the best of messages hammered out over and over again grow nauseating to listen to constantly.

And thanks to this shitshow starting so early, we still have 11 months of this to go.

Are you -- and I'm asking this literally -- are you high as a kite?

Also, I'd take Nik for president in a second. I mean, maybe he's not literally a grandpa yet, but he meets all the other qualifications.

No Trump is very likable I don't know anyone that likes old angry people from Vermont.

And let's face it Bernie's age is a problem. He is out of touch with a lot of things.

I don't have the words.

Reagan and Obama have been the only candidates of the past 30 years who have been likable. Ignoring their policies, they both seemed like okay-enough dudes. Reagan was a Hollywood actor, so obviously he had that down, and Obama -- say what you will about his politics -- seems like a decent enough guy.

The rest? Ugh. No thank you.

Obama's problem is he is smug arrogant and won't admit he ever makes mistakes.

It isn't about him being cool or whatever. I don't care if he is a good person in real life. He was elected to lead not go on Jimmy Kimmel and laugh it up.

Given the extremists in this country these days I don't think Vegas is giving good odds on any candidate getting through two terms without a near death experience in some way or another.

Also, stop invalidating Reagan. He was like six days short of 70 when he took office.
