He was the third victim, as he pulled out his firearm to try and intervene. That's another part of the problem. Many gun owners thinks they're Rambo, or Dirty Harry. You can have a gun, but when you are quietly out living your life, and some criminal is gunning people down, how effective are you going to be with it? It's one thing to shoot at a target or an animal. It's another thing to take out someone who is in a berserk state of mind, and is shooting back at you. |
