Hello,
Is GearSwap broken by the update? None of my gear is changing. Reload windower. They had to block the equip packet since we were getting wardrobe but it wasn't that major of a change so its been re-enabled now. But will only work with gobbie bag atm not wardrobe equipping.
I'm not sure that people should necessarily be using GearSwap right now. I've gotten some reports that look like bad action packet injections.
When people put the day in front of the month. There is no 14th month in a year people! Asura.Kingnobody said: » When people put the day in front of the month. There is no 14th month in a year people! We could talk about how that's the way the rest of the world does it, and how it's more sensible (days are smaller than months, which are smaller than years). Or, I can berate you both for not using ISO 8601. 2014-05-14, baby! Is SpellCast good to go?
Hi Byrth, Could you implement fallback code in GearSwap that swaps gear in situations like this? Also, if it's not too much trouble, allow GearSwap to use or convert SpellCast .xml files. Use in the sense of specifying a SpellCast XML file and interpret it as SpellCast would. Import in the sense of converting said .xml file into a SpellCast format so we can take advantage of all the nifty GearSwap features SpellCast doesn't have. Thanks much! I believe he meant the opposite. Just about everywhere but the USA uses day-month-year.

There's a programme that can change XML to Lua, at least there was one but I don't know if it was ever finished. Offline

Day/Month clearly makes more sense, but that's not the argument here.
So the advice is steer clear of GS for the time being? I'm going to be useless! Far too reliant on it... haha. Cheers anyway! Any idea how long the fix will take? How much damage did they do? punkphloyd said: » Day/Month clearly makes more sense, but that's not the argument here. So the advice is steer clear of GS for the time being? I'm going to be useless! I would recon a day at most, the teams usually very fast with this, but for everything I'd say at least a week to fix any unforseen issues Honestly, fix will probably be quick and might not even need to be done. I cannot check what the problem is until I get home, though.

The only thing I've noticed so far, is that gearswap prevents targets from working appropriately. This goes for all self target JA's. I didn't leave town, so I'm not sure about WS or enemy abilities like steps, etc. If you hit a macro /ja "Flee" <me> The error comes up. You are not allowed to attack that target (or something.. I'm not in front of the game) I've unloaded every plugin one-by-one, and gearswap is definitely the culprit. I can log an issue on github if necessary. Just let me know! Thanks Cannot use that Weaponskill. (any weaponskill, with any input used)
Cannot attack that target. (so far all of my JAs, even if its a self JA like sentinel) Oh, equipment changes still works. But i do not have any my gear in wardrobe yet. Gear still changes even when getting above errors With Gearswap I was able to use JAs if I took the <me > out, and I was able to use WS's in the same way, then I updated windower and now none of my JAs/WSs work at all, from menu or macros, except Fell Cleave. Fell Cleave works from the menu for whatever reason.
Fell cleave is all we need anyway.
Rerun Launcher and you'll pull down a new version of resources that should fix all the GearSwap problems. Sorry for the hold-up!

Thanks for getting that so quickly. Do you know off hand if gearswap will equip items from the new wardrobe yet? (i'm not home to test) forever impressed.
Thank you for the great work. Lakshmi.Byrth said: » Rerun Launcher and you'll pull down a new version of resources that should fix all the GearSwap problems. Sorry for the hold-up! is that working for Mogwardrobe or just normal Equipment?
