Best Naakaul Reward?

So I've been gone for a year and just come back recently.

With the Records of Eminence giving you a one off reward of any choice of Naakaul item, what's the best single item for any of the following jobs?

WAR/PLD/THF/WHM/SMN?

Assume I had non end-game gear before I quit.

Otomi Helm comes to mind.

As does Tamaxchi or Pahtli Cape

Kaabnax Trousers.

Atoyac for THF

Xiutleato for PLD

uk'uxkaj cap is pretty dynamite for the jobs that can use it.

You complete all the WKR objectives and talk to the NPC.

Ithink you can skip the dagger (there are so many accessible and better dagger: jse, eminent, skirmish) and sword (you would miss more the dmg/acc lost than the 4 pdt from the sword).

Personally i like the kaabnax design, but this legs dont have any appeal nowaday. For the same jobs, there is the quiahuiz leggings/trousers, that is great even compared with greater ilv legs when you dont need to worry about acc. But if you need acc, you should prefer manibhozo brais, that is great even compared with higher ilv legs. And if you need the defensive stats from kaabnax, just use spial.

Ejekamal mask is a very good att/acc head piece if you dont have any ilv119 head piece.

I still use bee pants for evasion but meh

Depending heavily on what build you have for your thf, Atoyac + Eminent Daggers work well together.

Kaabnax trousers I found to be better for thf than the Quiahuiz Trousers for melee purposes when soloing, particularly in dynamis, and used the Quiahuiz for ws due to the higher attack.

You did mention the Ejekamal mask (and I should have mentioned the Ejekamal Boots) which are extremely nice to have, since the mask has Haste+9%, boots have TA+1% and haste+5%

Not sure if you're aware, but winning all six WKR will give you many rewards, not just the one for RoE.

At the Library in Eastern Adoulin, you get to pick a reward at each of the following points:

1) First time you defeat all 3 of Ceizak/Foret/Morimar: choose any of the low level (item level 106) items they drop. These aren't really any good now, can get better gear with RoE sparks or even bayld.

2) First time you defeat Marjami/Yorcia: choose any one item dropped in those two fights. NOW we're talking, some really nice items here including Tamaxchi, Uk'uxkaj Cap, Pahtli Cape, etc.

3) First time you defeat Ceizak/Foret/Morimar/Kamihr: choose any of the higher level (item level 115) rewards from those zones. Note that Ceizak/Foret/Morimar must have been defeated after the Nov. 2013 update when the content level of those Naakuals were raised.

Above quests are not repeatable. However, the RoE quest for turning in the full set of temporary key items from winning WKRs (and selecting any WKR drop) is repeatable as many times as you like. You CAN do these at the same time, so making sure you have RoE quests on and killing all 6 WKR means you get your RoE reward AND all of the Library rewards described above.

Oh, and of course you also get the direct drops from actually fighting in the WKR. Includes not only the special weapons and armor from the WKR, but also a random chance of the Job Specific capes (which can be traded, any three for one JSE cape of your choice, also at the Library).

The RoE quest is repeatable and you get the KI's more than once? I didn't know that, awesome ^^
