edit: one other thing to consider is that Tojil has shifting damage resistances. If the other guy got lucky with multi-attacks and got off a few extra WS between 50 and 25%, you'd have a hell of a hard time catching up in the remaining phase. Bismarck.Vize said: » i think its the 40dmg more the crobaci +2 has over relic that is causing the diff You can think anything you want, or you can focus on doing your job the best you can. Bismarck.Vize said: » i think its the 40dmg more the crobaci +2 has over relic that is causing the diff Nope. Rag has a 2.5x damage proc that happens on 13% of it's swings along with a 14% crit rate increase. It also swings about 16% faster. I have a Crobaci +2 with 268 DMG amongst some other pretty awesome augments and Rag tends to beat it in total DPS. The Crobaci +2 with +10% WS DMG will obviously have bigger resolutions but Rag will have significantly higher melee DPS. To follow this up: on something with as many changing variables as a Delve boss, even with the best gear, you will not win every single parse without question. You aren't even guaranteed to beat someone as your same class that you outgear even if you are playing similarly. Obviously there are a lot of factors that both you, and anyone else reading this aren't aware of and that's probably where you should start on improving because other than just perhaps parse luck you should know without a doubt why you are losing and if you did something wrong/lost buffs etc if you expect to play DD well. Edit: since you posted about WS, as everyone else has said Rag's WS aren't going to compare. Most relics have substantially lower damage values than other 119 options, as intended by SE. They make up as better overall DPS options usually due to their other utilities. Spreadsheet say Crobaci +2 beat rag. Unless you need like acc ? (you don't on tojil) and that's just giving crobaci 260 dmg, nothing else.
Maybe my rag gearset is out of date! but I didn't even try to optimize crobaci+2 gear set! Offline

Do you play on console Vize?
Bismarck.Vize said: » i am talkin about ws dmg here not white dmg Seriously just toss your Ragnarok. People keep telling you the same thing over and over and you just refuse to listen. You lost a parse, there can be a bunch of factors why, it doesn't mean crobaci +2 is better. In perfect settings: Crobaci +2 will give you higher ws damage, but Ragnarok will win the parse. SE needs release equipment that increases a player's skill level.
Guys, he's talking about WS dmg here. What else even like, matters?
What gear set are you guys using to spreadsheet ragnarok as better than crobaci+2?

Edit: that is assuming the WSD is not applied to all hits, it seems it is still up in the air. Do you happen to know the person using the Crobaci+2's WS set? Also what their augments are?

Hello fellow DRKs, I'm Vize's friend/rival/nemesis.
My Crobaci +2 has the following: +23 base damage, making my Crobaci 268 base dmg; +7 Attack, +2 Store TP; Below are my sets TP no Last Resort ItemSet 320829 TP with Last Resort ItemSet 320830 WS Resolution ItemSet 320831 The parse Vize is talking about was: 301,552 (MNK well geared oats) 236,671 (MNK well geared oats) 235,322 Zaeeth (Me) 198,593 (MNK Spharai) 159,247 Vize (DRK Ragnarok) 124,997 DRG (Upukirex) Today's Torjil parse was: 258,432 Zaeeth 212,650 (MNK well geared oats) 206,004 (MNK well geared oats) 179,418 Vize on MNK with oats 171,990 DRG (Upukirex) Crobaci+2 does beat rag by a small margin in most situations, all the people saying that rag is better also jump on the ninzas+2 boat saying that its the best dps option just because its base dmg/delay make it seem so.
You lost parse by a huge amount tho which has obviously nothing to do with the wep, you could prolly both have the same wep and you would still loose just like in the 2nd parse. ignorance is defo not gonna help. all i see is someone trying to justify losing a parse that dosent really matter?
Bismarck.Vize said: » i am talkin about ws dmg here not white dmg Yes, the extra 40 dmg on Crobaci+2 will cause higher WS damage, but ignoring white damage is a fkn stupid statement. This thread is full of fail..... As per usual.

You're doing something wrong. |
