Asura.Natenn said: » Well i'll be starting this tomorrow since i beat Lightning Returns, rying to decide if i wanna do hard or normal @@ You can adjust the difficulty at any moment so there is no real "hard mode" since only thing that changes is everything you fight has double the HP.
hmm, I'm hearing different stories on Hard
Some are saying double HP. Some are saying increased HP and stats. Some are saying HP, Stats, and AI (Easy/normal will auto attack more vs focusing on skills) I've beaten every boss everytime I could through one play through and I've never noticed any increase in AI just stats and HP increase.
Think I might New Game+ just to test it out. added ppl to list, guess ill play on hard. Hope its as epic as everyone says :P
and are there missable things i should know about? i know i seen something about Vampire spells you need to get before moving on in chapters. Can i miss treasure/side quests andd stuff?
I'm happy with Normal mode right now, I might try HM in NG+, I've never been that hardcore with it being hard (and if it's just double HP it makes the fights 2x as long, so meh).
Spoiler though, this one pertains to the storyline (normally I don't like posting spoilers like this, but I need to see if others feel this way): Asura.Natenn said: » and are there missable things i should know about? i know i seen something about Vampire spells you need to get before moving on in chapters. Can i miss treasure/side quests andd stuff? You can miss the side quests, but later Chapters you can do them anyways, the fights are a bit harder though. Chests aren't missable since you can always go back.
Genome spells are the only missable things but can all be gained later in the game anyway. The only chests you miss are the blue ones but you won't get the key to open them untill much later in the story then you can revisit them all. Sidequests in the game are JUST for unlocking jobs or just to refaced harder versions of the bosses so you don't have to worry about skipping them. But they do bring more back story to the bosses if you really want to know more about them. http://kotaku.com/the-bravely-default-live-concert-was-so-good-its-ridic-1526185669
Really makes me upset i didn't get the sound track. It's magical. It's like so good I wish I could get a gold record of it to hang on my wall and another version to keep it on loop for eternity.

MNKs not supposd to wear any armor? Only time armor rank for ppl show up is on Heavy armor and nothing for other equip till i buy/try equip it
MNKs can wear light armor but once they get the ability "Natural Talent" all their stats increase exponentially when nothing is equipped. No weapon, armor, or accessory.
Normal body and head gear is automatically given an "A" ranking to that class unless indicated otherwise.
For instance heavy armor classes have an E in light gear and vice versa for light armor classes with heavy gear. Freelancer is the only class to have a B in both gear sets and all weapons. Making everything balance after the other 23 jobs are maxed out. I'll be using this time to update my data. So far I have a summon with 9999 dmg and JP Boost from Freelancelvl10
You can pass the 9999 dmg cap by using "Bravely Seconds" when you send over your data. Pressing "send" before using any further such as "Special" or something must be done in order for the game to update your "Friend data."
wheres this "mill" in ancheim im supposed to go to at night? no indicator on map
Asura.Natenn said: » wheres this "mill" in ancheim im supposed to go to at night? no indicator on map It's only after you finish the Wind Crystal part. Just finally got past the wind crystal thing lol, just got to Florem... holy hell the dialogue LOL
I'd probably be farther but I've been mainly doing my town in between going to work all week :/ probably a good thing lol, I'm a bit overpowered now :p 1 or 2 shotting most enemies (and the bosses/asterisks fights haven't really challenged me much... :( ) might turn up to hard lol Time Mage has to be the worst job costume ever tied with furry Rangers. I like how one character always gets the costume of the people you get the job asterisk from.
Random, I know. I actually love all the "AF"s they are all so unique and full of character.
Time Mage, masters of time magic so give them a clock around their heads. Witty. Ranger, bow hunters so give them a pelt of the animal they killed. Clever. I just don't understand what are those circle things with 3 black holes are for Salve Maker is it some chemist tool? Like to hold the vials? Also pointy shoes. Why? How is that all practical for handling hazardous chemicals? Lol Vampire has by far the best AF. Tiz vampire is so simple and yet I love it so much
Italian localization of this game is so bad lol <.< I hear them speak in english and then the italian text below says something completely different >_>
Though I know I still have a lot of the game left, I'm sold on the notion that the Hartschild daytime theme is the single best song in the game.
On that note, added everyone on the FC list. Mine's 3840-6826-4224 My favorite tracks are
Tiz's special theme Agnes's special theme Ringabel's special theme Final boss theme(trust me just don't attack for an hour and bask in its gloriousness) And one people think I am insane for Ba'al i; Turtle Dove the Nemesis it's so creepy and unsettling it's genius when you see how well the music pairs with how the boss looks. It's so Nightmare Before Christmas-y lol anywhere i can grind JP early? i miss the froggys from the demo :(
Can grind JP off pretty much anything that has more than 3 or 4 mobs. Pre-chapter 5 outside of the city of Eternia is the best grinding spot.
