Trust Ciphers!

You lose your UC's trust if you fail to get 5000 accolades in a week, two weeks in a row, IIRC.

Cipher: Darrcuiln, Cipher: Lion, Cipher: Naja.

So the Cipher: Mnejing isn't available at the assault counters for me and I have enough points to purchase it. I've completed ToAU, I'm not sure what's wrong. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Apururu gets silenced and slept all the time. Also likes to die. Yorans cureskin and resistance to status ailments rocks all day long.

I've been trying all the Unity leaders as trusts, and on the last one before I go back to Apururu. Ayame UC refuses to weaponskill. She just sits there with 3000 tp(this is on BLU). Has she always been this way? Or is it a bug?

Don't forget Yoran's very strong fastcast and innate Cure Potency bonus

New Alter Ego coming next week. Any clue who it will be?

AAEV is one of the best tank trust :
Capped Cure Potency.
Capped Fast Cast, with Haste II she is able to keep Reprisal almost full time.
Auto-Refresh I, Chivalry and converts 5% of the damage taken to MP, she doesn't run out of mp easily.
Has the highest amount of HP/MP among trust tanks.
DT-10%, MDB traits.
The drawback can be the lack of Provoke.

AAEV doesn't hold hate as well as August.

How does Ygnas rank compared to the UC healers?

They narrowed it down to 3 npcs (some really ridiculous ones like hp and hunt registry already kicked out) and like 10 effects. Looks like September they will announce

Somewhat situational but I'd say overall tied with the auto behind Choochoo and August (at least when they aren't being dumb and committing suicide). Specifically doesn't hold hate as well as those 2 and less dmg reduction potential but better all around dmg reduction and the other things already discussed. With the Auto being even better all around dmg reduction but one of the shittier as far as hate goes.

Pretty good. Overall I'd rate him right behind Apururu. Erase nas, smart strong curing, pro/shellra, party haste, barelement stays out of range, auto refresh, regain and ws that are mostly good though sadly a couple do AoE dmg. Might be a way to position so it wont do it since it tries to keep distance and all

Probably best non-unity Trust healer.
Still behind Apururu and Yoran.

Pros:
Has some unique long cooldown JA buffs/heals
Has a cool Refresh Aura if used with Arciela (either version)

Cons:
Doesn't have Nott/Dagan (TP>MP conversion)
Doesn't have Convert JA (?)
Doesn't have Cureskin
Doesn't have AoE cures (well he has one AoE cure JA/WS but cooldown and requires TP)

Pro/Con: (depends on your stance!)
Just like Apururu, he casts haste 1, which can be annoying when you want a RDM to keep Haste2 on you instead.


In the other aspects it's pretty much the same as Apururu and Yoran-Oran

This ruined Ygnas for me.

Experimented with trying to pair him up w/ Sylvie, but on DD jobs, it was driving me crazy to cancel Haste I repeatedly (Haste seems to very high on Ygnas' priority list).

On RUN it was fine, since Sylvie gives Indi-Haste and Haste I was welcome.

His cure AI seems good, and capped FC/Cure Pot is great. But Yoran is still head and shoulders above everybody else.

So another thing about ygnas seems to do the AoE cure a lot more often if you are taking a bit of AoE dmg even if not in any real danger

Also I've had it just evade 8 sleep moves in a row that slept the whole party and all pets. If it could would awake everyone with the AoE move if not would do cure 1s all around

I know, right?
A "trick" you can use for that, is to use Arciela1 as your RDM of choice.
Arciela1 will always overwrite Haste1 with her Haste2 (but she casts only on the summoner).
Her priority in doing that isn't super high, but she does it.

Still pretty annoying, but it's an okaysh compromise. Plus Ygnas gets a Refresh aura if you use him with Arciela.


If Haste1 isn't an issue, I think Ygnas is a valid alternative to Yoran-Oran, allowing you to pick Sylvie as your Unity.
But if you need AoE heals, there's really no substitute for Apururu alas.
She's literally the only main-healer-trust that regularly casts curagas.
(there are other NPCs that have curaga or similar spells, but nobody is an efficient "main healer" like Apururu)

So while Mildaurion seems to not really have a defined job, the bonus value to Gallant's Roll confirms that she has PLD set as her main job.

I want to give Sylvie a go, but I am loathe to lose Apururu... Are there any non trust leader healers that measure up?

Kind of different, but I found Uka can be great for heals in combination with sylvie

Ygnas is the next best healer after those two, but imho it's still miles behind Apururu and Yoran-Oran.
