Trust Ciphers!

Does anyone know what trusts are available for the alternative ego event that started June 2 nd?

None that's the hp/mp/resistances up.

Im just recently getting back to the game, and have been collecting some trusts. Ive done the main cities, but every time I look up a trust and think about trying to go get it, it ends up not being available anymore.


Which trusts that aren't linked to a specific event are the best ones to get for MNK?
Also, BLM - though it seems like they dont do anything unless you're engaged... which sucks.

Trust won't do anything until their summoner whaps something in melee, which screws over pure casters and pet jobs. Most of the time on BLM I'll use what I call the geo-trusts: Star Sybil for MAB, Moogle for Refresh, Sakura for Regen, and Kupofried for Dedication. Their effects are level based, and always active regardless if you're engaged or not. They're also immune to all effects both harmful and beneficial, so nasty AoE won't nom your team.

If I'm DDing I like Koru-Moru, Qultada, Apururu, and sometimes Joachim or Ulmia. That gives me haste 2, marches, Chaos and Fighter's Roll, a healer that WILL keep me alive, and situational accuracy should I require it. This is for ninja, though- if you need a tank, Amchuchu or Gessho are your best bets.

Yeah that's a big reason I'm avoiding leveling caster jobs. It's a pain in the *** having to run up and melee everything just to get your Trusts to wake up.

A good QoL change would be to allow trust to engage when one's pet engages or you cast a spell that targets an enemy with a detrimental effect (though I hear you can enfeeble fish in Sea infinitely without them attacking)...

That way, mages of all flavors, summoners, pups, and non-meleeing BST wouldn't be forced into the Horrible Facestomp Radius some mobs have.

Any idea what job(s) Rongelouts is?

Luzaf I'm assuming is COR. Wouldn't it be nice if he gave pet rolls.

Luzaf is a repeat. He's a COR, but doesn't use any rolls. He also uses a scythe for WS.

I think you get a new title unlocked when you get all of the Aht Urhgan trusts.. I just got Najelith and realized my Title was Mercenary Major. I couldn't find any info on neither BG nor ffxiclopedia.

That's from buying a Federation Aketon. If you check the Titles page on wiki, you'll see it there.

He also flames more than Mayakov and dresses like a bad BDSM advertisement. But hey, I think it's hilarious.

Will she stay the %&$! out of Horrible Facestomp Radius, though? And isn't one of her WS AoE?

She doesn't melee at all so I imagine if you move the mob she will stay put like the whm trusts that don't melee. She does Stellar Arrow which seems to be a dark damage AoE.
She does the AoE as a result of 1 of 3 conditions
1. she hits 2000 TP and uses a random weaponskill
Lux Arrow, Arching Arrow, Sidewinder, or Stellar Arrow
2. She is closing a skillchain with you or another trust and it is the best weaponskill to close with (not common)
3. You or other trusts just did darkness with each other and she just got tp and does another darkness off of it.
I've leveled up a couple of jobs to 99 with her and the AoE was not a problem very often, if she does AoE stuff it will deaggro when she dies, but as long as she had another weaponskill to skillchain off of she is the best DD trust I've seen.

To be honest, I'd probably rather use Mildaurion if I'm going to risk trust pulling unreasonable hate from adds. Her TP moves are pretty nice, as they tend to deal a lot of damage.

Anyone know where / how to get the newest Trust(s) yet?
The Mithran tracker(s) I mean.

Tried sparks npc, conquest npc, FoV book and Union NPC but none of those.

Would have tried more currency NPC's but have to go for now. So it's either one of the NPC's I didn't check or they actually added some (mini) quests for them somewhere in the CoP region.

Despachiaire maybe? He is the one you go to for the BCNMs against them, after all.

Shikaree Z also casts Cure and Cure IV, so I'm going to assume she probably has 2 and 3 as well. She also hasted me (I think). I believe she used Sonic Thrust as well, but I've slept since then and my memory is foggy.

I'm kinda sad she doesn't have Call Wyvern, but I expected that. As a DD, she's not too bad. I used her in a Shiva fight and she seemed to be able to time her Jumps to avoid AoE TP moves.
