I have several of the items to upgrade my original AF items for body/hands, but I'm not seeing anything really great about any.

Here is my current list of potential upgrades:
MNK Body
SAM Hands
SAM Head

Are there any others that stand out as great? NIN body maybe?

no offense, but why the sam head? it doesn't have any amazing stats and does nothing extra for meditate. also, the hands have been tested and are either broken or do nothing useful.

I was hoping the enhances <stat> did something extra, in that case, Just the MNK body (which I know does something extra for chakra)

Dat COR body though... How could you add head/hands but forget body/legs? (why hands?)

Laksamana hat bonus is currently unknown(or at least no one said it yet); boots aren't worth it.

Hands are ok for melee tp, body for many things and pants are better than Shneddick.

Oh, side note, these things are getting buffed again in the near(?)future, so even if something isn't worth it now it might become relevant later on(ie cor boots).

Convoker's bracers seem just as worthless as before.

Mnk feet might be the best easily obtained tp piece.
Mnk hands have the highest STR and DEX attributes for the slot but no direct attack/acc

Edit: meant highest combo of STR/DEX

Lorica +10 sec to berserk.

Mufflers +15% ret dmg(stacks with ravager)

Mask +10 sec to aggressor stacks with relic.

That is by a quick backread on bg math thread.

THF gloves - don't know if the boost is bigger but still are better then any other choice for TA due to boosted stats.

BLU body - Blue magic AND high stats? 2 words.... Hell. Yeah.

SMN Boots(Maybe not too sure) - BP damage +5%.
SMN Body - +11% BP damage.
SMN Head - Highest Skill+ head piece.

MNK body - +.2 Mod on Chakra and a chunk of VIT for it is nice.

SAM gloves(Maybe if bugged or some super awesome hidden thing we cant find) - Says it enhances hasso but no one has a clue how.

Honorable mentions from these 5 jobs:
THF:
The whole set. Each piece has Crit damage + on it this could end up making the set look very good for SAs or TAs.

BLU:
The Boots, the chain affinity boost on them might be something worthwhile.

SMN:
No honorable mentions.

MNK:
The hands could be useful with the huge stat boots they provide but it may be short lived with Relic armor being boosted next month.

SAM:
The Body may be a boost if you are still using Unkai +2 and have some Store TP to drop.

Any good thf is already carrying their AF feet, I guess if you can deal with the loss in movement speed from 18 to 12, you could save yourself the slot.

Or you can just upgrade them for no particular reason like I did other than not having anything else to burn my rem tales on!

Or you could download the latest version of clipper or cupper and never need movement speed gear again

DRK:
Despite what I've said before, Headpiece is good for Endark build and recast. Everything else is purely situational or crap.

To clear things up: Upgrading the regular AF doesn't require the Limbus rare/ex items anymore? Just the silky Suede and 20 beastcoins? Or w/e is needed for the particular piece your eyeballing?

10 seals would be a real pain for someone just returning to the game.

Also is there any info on the actual fight? I was thinking that redeeming my login campaign points is best spent on the Sacred seals. Also I was thinking of getting 3 seals with the returning player campaign so that I will be 3/5 on one piece of armor.

Thoughts?

If you mean this one.

Greetings,

We wanted to let you know that we will be removing the “rare” aspect of the materials needed for artifact armor upgrades that can be obtained from Limbus, and we will also be making them stackable up to 12.
It just means we'll be able to obtain multiple of each item and stack it rather than having to upgrade a piece, thereby getting rid of the item, before we can obtain another.

I believe SE mentioned that AF pieces would eventually be upgraded to Ilvl 119. It's quite possible that the THF feet will get +18% movement speed at that point, thus making them far more practical. Perhaps that's just wishful thinking, though.

That's pretty cool, since you can get multiple of the same drop even in the same run. I've been sending AF+1 materials to my mules for a long time now, some of which are clogging up my d-boxes because I have multiples of the same piece.

Need to do some Temenos, I'm pretty flooded with the Apollyon items without the matching Tememnos material...
