Im about to hit 57 and im thinking rather than buy scorp harness, i may buy the matts and get someone to craft for sig and chance of HQ so if u have the stats, post!
Also does anyone know the likelyness of hq? quite low stats for cap to make it 69 and 30. If i get nq i loose around 90k though any thoughts on whether its worth it or not?

I don't have the craft skill you need, but I can say anyone with 100 Bone and 61 leather will net you a 25% chance at HQ. Information about HQ tiers can be found here. Both the craft and subcraft have to meet the required level to break the HQ tier, so leathercraft absolutely has to be 61 (+1 items and synth support can count for this) and bone at least 100. If they are anywhere less than this you will have an 8-10% chance at HQ.
Good Luck finding someone. If you don't know the crafter you find personally you should probably tip them for the synth HQ or not.

Yeah, you need 100 Bonecraft and 64 Leather though for the 2nd HQ tier. So, you need any combination to reach that...
99+1 Bone / 61 + HQ Sup. Leather
100 Bone / 60+1 + HQ Sup. Leather
etc.
Now, out of those 23 people... Find one with the Leathercraft apron or gloves.

Well, you need 61/60+1 Leather so you can get the +3 support. As long as you are 61 leather after skill / gear and get HQ support so you end up 100/64 at the time of synth, you'll get into the 2nd HQ tier.

I thought the crafter you mentioned might have been Xarchangel,he has high levels in all crafts and wrote a lot of the guides on the wiki.

ahh ive seen Xarch post on here quite alot! and im funny bout stuff to do with ffxi on facebook as i have my whole sixthform/college on there lol its still silly though but meh no one would care anyway >.<

well a really nice guy on my server sent me a message on here saying he can do it, he has 103 bonecraft and 61 leather, does that mean once he gets supprt etc like your saying he will be in second tier hq?

Yea no worries, with advanced leather guild support I'd be 103 Bone 64 Leather. Tier 2 in both crafts
