then again i look at the team i planned first and I wouldnt know who to replace D:
raichu, luxray, jolteon, zebstrika, manectric, mega ampharos.
maybe keep mega manectric and replace ampharos. still have time to decide :O Manectric. There isn't much to him, he doesn't have that many alternate type moves and you already have 3 pure Electric types. Plus, his SPAtt rating is lower than the others that matter.
Having Zapados at least prevents you from being one-shot by 1 speedy Earthquake user for your entire team.

yeah I wrote that before I counted how many you posted lol
Um... Hm. Both of those mega formes are good... Ampharos ahs Mold Breaker, but its speed does go down compared to normal forme...
Mega Manectric gets intimidate and boosted SpATK and Speed
Then again, king brings up a good point about move pool.

SR doesn't seem to come out too often due to limited pokes that can learn/pass on, I wouldn't be too worried about it. Of course bring someone that can spin/defog if your team is heavily weakened by it.
On that note, I'll try to join the mono type tournament. Other than SR weak, I think flying has one of the best typings in the game by far (Dnite, Gyara, talonflame, skarm to name a few)... I'll probably go with this :)
Perhaps I may throw a suggestion also. Most monotype tournaments allow for 1 wildcard pokemon because for instance, bugs/grass probably don't have much to counter priority brave bird/acrobatics. Having 1 wildcard maybe turn that around etc. I think this may balance it better without having people lose just because of type advantage? Just a thought.

Intriguing to say the least. Especially the Eevee and Type tournaments.
Unfortunately I'm not very good at breeding perfect Pokemon, so I'll pass.

Unfortunately I'm not very good at breeding perfect Pokemon, so I'll pass. Well, having perfect IV's is the least important of the three things: Nature, EV's, IV's, I mean it makes a different especially for something like speed? Though I'm not sure what the ACTUAL difference between a 0 IV and a 31 IV at level 50. Maybe someone with great pokeknowledge knows, because I don't. :(
Also I'd be happy to hand out some decently IV'd Eevee's to you, to evolve/breed, though they're going kinda fast now :<

Now if there were a tournament where you can only use Shiny Pokemon that you catch in the field (not hatched) now THAT would be fun.

Well, this isn't exactly a mono-type tournament. But I get what you are saying.
A lot of Pokemon have moves in their setups (either by leveling, breeding, or TM/HMs) that would counter the type disadvantages. Fighting types learning Rock Slide for example.
Also, if you are afraid of the speed, you could always use speed enhancing items (Quick Claw for example).

My Milotic... Ugh, man. She was a true Wall...
Bold Nature...
Marvel Scale...
Rest/Scald/Sleep Talk/Ice Beam(or Dragon Tail if I'm using a stealth rocker)...
Had leftovers on her, but I just might give her an Assault Vest just to completely ***on people's attacks... nvm would prevent her from using Rest/Sleep Talk. :I
She's true beauty. ;-;

I have done a singles tournament with a guy who had no intention of winning, only trolling everyone else with his team of stallers.
It was like leftovers x4 and other random crap items like black sludge and whatnot, admitted himself he didn't care to win and wanted to make us all miserable
made me mad :<
edit: Also firinia LUCKILY FOR YOU, I have some 5/6 haxorus's so maybe we can get a shiny :3
for ones I am after, Volcarona, Metagross, Chandelure, Toxicroak, Aegislash, Gardevoir, or... WAILORD! hah
mostly in that order, but I'm pretty much happy with whatevs :3
That would be so amazing. ._. I'll see about some of the ones you're looking for as well. :o

While the speed is a boon, the defense and attack isn't.

depends on the attacker. most non-stab rock slides he can survive with roost. sub-roost set with toxic and probably flamethrower isn't a terrible idea either.

Ok, if you guys missed it, Round 1 is over there
Round 2 will be more interesting!!!
There will be 4 tournaments in this one, but 2 of them...are different (evil grin). Oh, and you don't have to declare your teams this time either.
Spoilers for each tournament:
Eevee Tournament! Rules are as follows:
There are only 9 Pokemon allowed for this tournament: Eevee, Leafeon, Glaceon, Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, and Sylveon. That being said, you will be seeing these over and over again.
However, you can only have 1 of each type in a team! No 2 Sylveons in a team!
Other than that, anything goes! Simple enough. Double Battles for this one!
Type Tournament! Rules are as follows:
You declare a type when you register, and your entire team has to be that type Meaning if you choose Normal, every single one of your team needs to be of the Normal type (can have a second type also, but the type you declared has to be all 6 teammates).
If your Mega Evolution changes types, the ending result has to be the type you declare! For example: Mega Charizard X cannot be part of the Flying type team, and Charizard cannot be part of the Dragon type team, even if you automatically Mega-evolve him at the start.
Ban Lists from Uber level is not allowed (Edit: 12/4/13. Mega Gengar has been banned on this list, but because the ban came so late in the registration, it will not be banned from the Type Tournament)
From Smogon.com:
Species Clause - A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same National Pokédex number on a team.
For example, using a team with two Koffing would break this clause.
Using different formes on the same team, such as Rotom-W and Rotom-C, also breaks the clause since they share the same Pokédex number (#479).
This rule was implemented for BW tiers following a Policy Review vote on October 30, 2010.
Sleep Clause - You lose if, at the end of your turn, two of your opponent's Pokemon were put to sleep by a move you used but were not forced into, and neither have had their sleep removed since then.
The clause basically means that if you have already put a Pokemon on your opponent's side to sleep and it is still sleeping, you can't put another one to sleep.
A move you were "forced into" is a move you must use because all other moves (that cannot inflict sleep) are disabled (by Choice item, Encore, or some combination of Taunt, Disable, Torment, and lack of PP) and you cannot switch (due to trapping moves, trapping abilities, Ingrain, or having all other Pokemon be fainted).
A move you used includes moves called by Metronome, Sleep Talk, Assist, Me First, or Copycat. It does not include Magic Coat or Magic Bounce.
Rest, used by either player, is never counted by this clause.
The definition of this rule was debated on in a Policy Review discussion.
This rule was implemented for BW tiers following a Policy Review vote on October 30, 2010.
Evasion Clause - A Pokemon may not have the moves Double Team or Minimize in its moveset.
Generally, this rule will be automatically enforced in simulator play. In Wi-Fi play, a player is considered to have broken the clause when a Pokemon is revealed to have been brought into the battle with a banned move.
This rule was implemented for BW tiers following a Policy Review vote on October 30, 2010.
This rule does not apply to BW Ubers following a Policy Review vote on December 21, 2012.
OHKO Clause - A Pokemon may not have the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold in its moveset.
Moody Clause - A team cannot have a Pokemon with the ability Moody.
This rule was implemented for BW tiers by acclamation on June 7, 2011.
These fights will be in the Single Fight Format Pokemon League Single Style! Rules are as follows:
This will be a league-style tournament, where everyone will have a chance to fight each other at least twice (possibly more if not that many people show up). Same banlist and Smogon.com rules from the Type Tournament. (Edit: 12/4/13, Mega Gengar has been banned from the tournament) Overruled for this tournament.
Dawn and I will setup the season schedule so everyone has a chance to fight each other. Everyone will have at least 3 fights every week (possibly more) that they need to get through. If you cannot finish all 3 fights, the fights will be considered a draw.
Scoring system as follows:
Win = 3 points
Tie = 1 point
Lose = 0 points
At the end of the league, there will be a playoff tournament where the top 50% of the league fights each other in a final, 1 round matchoff where there will be a champion at the end. If there is an uneven number of seeds for the playoffs, the seeded teams start from whoever has the most points and continues downwards until all seeds are taken. Meaning if you rank first in the league, you will probably be seeded for the playoffs.
These fights will be in the Single Fight Format Pokemon League Double Style! Rules are as follows:

And yes, this is a copy/paste of the Single Style Tournament. Bite me :P
One last note: If you are going to register, please make sure you stay the entire time. It kindof sucks when 3 people drop out and then one person gets seeded all the way to the finals! If you think you can't make it when it's time to start, just say so before the last day of registration!
Edit: Clarification on Items available to use. You can have items on your team, but they all have to be different. You also cannot use any eva+ or acc- due to the evasion clause. This applies to all tournaments. Changed, you can have items of the same kind for multiple teammembers
Last day of registration will be December 15th. That gives you a whole month to decide if you want to do a tournament or not.
Last rule: Above all else, Crystalchan cannot quit! Neither can Chuuuuuuuuu!
