More of a question to ask privately, but mostly due to slap-fighting and flaming other people. Most people who get banned for this know why and don't ask, they usually just skip to trying to rationalize or justify it and point fingers at someone else.

What are your opinion on improving ff11? kill the game and start again with charactors carried over with better hardware/lore like ff14 or forget it completely?

FF11 has that nostalgia feel, I don't think it needs new graphics but it could probably use an update in back end hardware and coding. FFXIV lost many good things in the relaunch from what I've seen and I think it would be a mistake to kill and start over. The point that started the decline was when Matsui announced that R/M/E weapons were to be obsoleted, that's a pretty good clue that negating a player's accomplishments and efforts is a pretty bad idea. The R/M/E debacle actually had Japanese players quitting which is kind of a big deal, it didn't help that it all took place over Golden Week so it raged on for a solid week, people quitting without anyone in the office to actually say anything. FFXI has fluctuated but never fully recovered, as far as I can tell, to what it was prior to Golden Week 2013.

Facts. Once they *** with RME that pist a lot of Japanese off. The Japanese forums proved it plus the huge population drop when they didn’t fix it fast enough. Sucks about the tummy :(

but then curiosity gets the better of him and he logs out to read the posts of the people he has blocked... then he logs back in to reply... but he can't quote people he has blocked so he has to unblock them to reply to them and then block them again and then log out to read their reply.

2013 was relic time only right? albeit relics have a hard time even now competing with mostly endgame stuff in terms of actual WS dmg, most relics are for the stats like crits from ragnarok, aegis, excalabar's en dmg effect, etc.

It was raging on the NA side too, the GMs pretty much just gave up moderating, they ignored it till JP players started unsubbing.
