New Character Not Updating On Default Profile

So I'm having an issue. I have recently moved to Goblin server from Adamantoise. I've deleted my old character and linked my new one to the site however when going to select it as my default profile it still shows my Adamantoise account. I check my profile from time to time at work by clicking on the icon in the top right corner but it's linking to my non-existent Adamantoise account and instead just links me back to the front page. Can someone take a look at this please? Pic included to show Characters.

EDIT: Should also note it still says Adamantoise on the left side over there too.

Thanks for the detailed report. I see the problem, I'm just not sure how it occurred. I am going to write a script to find these broken connections between characters and "profile identities".
