Moviewise Wars > Trek. Most of the Trek movies are bad, most notably Nemesis, Generations and V. What does God need with a starship gets me every time. The first 5 trek movies were pretty solid if you consider the times, wars was just so far beyond anything else it's hard to compete. And while we're on the subject, Picard > Kirk... Ya, I said it. EDIT: I don't speak Trekie. /fish out of water I'm fully behind Picard > Kirk. I like Kirks swashbuckling, cocky attitude but in real situation that type of behavior does not a good captain make.
Picard has so many good lines once TNG took off that it's hard not to like him even if he isn't action hero material. 15mins of win YouTube Video Placeholder

Bipartisan support achieved. Clearly, Congress needs a box set of Star Trek: TNG and we'd be on our way to utopian society.
Just skip Season 1, its pretty bad. So, they remade Carrie again! Geez! Didn't they do that in the late 90's or early 2000's? I forgot, but is a third remake necessary?

I think of it more as the shaking hands and passing around the "Good game!" sentiment. I forgot who, but someone compared it to the post-coital cigarette once. Seems appropriate, I guess. Yeah...Not the best comparison.
