does that mean i need more fame for that coalition?

You need Contributor rank in order to do those. Complete 60 imprimaturs worth of assignments there to get it.

...I usually found that the basic (low-level) Land Surveys were easiest for me. You can just sneak over from the nearest bivouac to the easiest Ergon Locus for that area, then just keep doing that at 3-imprimaturs-per-run.

The I-7 Ceizak ergon locus is very close to Bivouac 2. The J-10 Ceizak ergon locus is somewhat close to Ceizak Frontier Station. K-8 Yahse ergon locus is very near the Yahse Frontier Station.

The next tier up has K-11 Sih Gates ergon locus, which is close to the Foret Frontier Station...you can walk back to Foret Frontier Station or just escape out into Ceizak afterwards.

Later on, you can get the Morimar land survey at K-6 to spam, which is near Bivouac 1, but I think by that time you will be able to do Component Surveys instead if you preferred.
