Its great for SAM, and there is a big debate about if Tomoe > Gondo or the other way around....

People think that because of the skill difference between GK and Pole on SAM.
And I agree, any Acc for SAM is great.
But, if you cap acc anyway, then Tomoe's acc is worthless, so this polearm is better.

I do enms every week now. The ones in bearclaw are soloable... though not necessarily easy and require kiting. Like the wind and Sheep in antlions clothing can be done with like 2-3 if you know what your doing. Ok money in those.
Hey Korpg, is YYR an absolute must-have piece for SMN, or can a Royal Redingote with -2Perp cost be better since we've learned there's a cap on Blood Pact - timers?

ONLY time a YYR is acceptable for any SMN who has a Royal Redingote with perp- on it would be the following:
Carby summon (you must have free carby WITHOUT the added refresh)
That way, you can get free carby plus bonus refresh.
Although, situations that incourage SMNs to have JUST carby out instead of any other avatars would be soloing, so yeah, it all depends on the SMN's total gear at the moment.
I will never get a YYR because I get free carby anyway WITHOUT using my carby mitts, and 2 perp cost Garuda/Fenrir full time, 4 perp cost others full time, and ***ton of Pet:Acc/Att both in merits and in gear. YYR would gimp me because I lose 2 perp cost and 15 Pet Acc.
Edit: It makes a nice run-around body though, as long as you don't have a summon out, but its really an inventory -1 in most cases a SMN is needed to DD

Enk outdoes mirke!?! How? Also if you do redingote with both melee and magic pet augs YYR be good. Depending on what you use your smn for you might need both those augments

Honestly, have both lol, no reason not to have YYR :x, always uses for it.
Yeah I wouldnt use any set of augments for mirke on blu... cept maybe -prep cost if I ever got shivas shotel and its additional effect is as pimp as wiki says.

Great to have since the 2 above it are fairly hard to get, I like mine and it was easy so break cuz I soroed Fragmentation every 3~5 minutes, and I know what to use to SC w/ NPC.

as a sam with an npc you should be doing 3 step lvl 3 skill chains for like 8 points that round

Yea, See, the problem there is to end lvl 3, your only option is Impulse Drive, and you nee to close on Distortion, which polearm cannot close at all, thus, soloing lvl 2 is all you can ever do.
Since I was told that Levi Corse is better than Gondo, and looking it up I would have to agree, I'm just going to quit with that and not worry about breaking something I have to solo for 10 hours straight -.-

This, has 85% Hit rate on birds w/ Hasso on and 8/8 Merits,(263 skill there) w/ Gondo, Tomoe puts u up around 90% Hit Rate, and when u have a 5 Hit, imo, more acc = better.
