Mitsuru (opps MT'd the first post) was a nuking goddess, and like no floor / story bosses had a resistance to Bufu. She did 80% of my damage against the last boss. MC buffed / healed (if Yukari was down) attacked, Yukari spammed heals, Akihiko spammed debuffes to waste turns for the boss to remove them. I guess I was taking the extreme defensive route.

Her Bufu-ness is pretty useful. The real damage advantage she has comes later on though, when she gets Power Charge and God's Hand. Shits sexy.

I saw no use for Junpei since I basically was Junpei + more, lol. I liked Aigis until I realized she had no magics. All physical has downsides after a certain point of the game. I saw no purpose in Koro-chan. I would've chosen Ken over Yukari but she has far more SP than him. Good thing is it doesn't really matter what your setup is - you can still win as long as you know what you're doing.

After I max one girl out (you know, past the "she might get pissy if you talk to other girls" phase around like Rank 5~6), can I neglect her and move on like in P3P? Or can it reverse? c.c

Never into that series either.. but it is a game forgot the company it was made for though. It was a pretty old series first game was on the psx, only recently they had made an anime based on the games.

max the social links of your main characters...their persona's evolve when you do....Chie's and Yukkiko's are badass after they change
You can date every date-able girl at the same time in P4, but once you commit to two or more of them, you can't actually go out on dates or hang out after school beyond Social Link outings.

shin megami tensei games aren't hard to come by because they are "winsauce" they are hard to come by because they are in low production in the states.
which means you can buy a game and keep it in mint condition and sell it to a weaboo for loads of cash after X amount of time.

Well, you can go out on a date and get caught, which I THINK causes a break-up, but you still have maxed out Social Link for that/those people.

persona is a spin off of the shin megami tensei series created by Atlus.

Persona 4 was one of my favorites I think...The dark feel of the murder mystery was awesome and it had some *** up plot twists...good ***.. I need to play through that ***again

You don't have to date them. Once you max out, it'll give you an option. Either way, you get the ability to make stronger persona and theirs will transform if they're a playable character.

So far it's pretty interesting. Certainly less depressing and death oriented than P3, lol.
Even if someone doesn't like Persona, the soundtrack for P3, P3P, and P4 will blow your mind.
