I talk to the abyssea leader, tell him the situation, and he's like "yea it's cool, just get back when you can". I thanked him and went to help my gf.
It was a long process of not having good enough tools (rusted), the spare tire having a hole in it, and other various things. We finally just got it towed and it's at a shop right now, then I had to take her home so we can deal with her car either tomorrow or thursday.
I get back home to the abyssea party maybe 2 hours later (avatar's favor wore off maybe 10 minutes ago, so technically I was only leeching for 10 mins, depending how you look at it). The blm was getting pissed I wasn't doing anything except giving him refresh the entire time. So he D2'd me.
I get back literally 10-15 seconds after he D2'd me, made a :/ face, and the alliance leader was like "wtf did you just D2 him?", and the blm was just like "yea he's been afk like 3 hours."
I /sighed irl, but asked to come back anyway since it was only 8:30pm. I went back on smn and restarted lights and exp, even though I couldn't do much but give refresh again since I can't get killshots.
I got my exp capped 85 smn and 2 extra merits before I had to go to bed, instead of finishing around 9:30pm like I should have.

Not seeing a problem here tbh. Just be happy you were able to get exp while not even there.

Most BLM's do very little in Abyssea.
They like to think they're the bread and butter though. A BLM who was resting well into acceptable MP levels complained when I went AFK for 2 mins to answer the door >.> He threatened to D2 me too.

Heard there were midnight releases for this game. Also heard there wasn't even a crowd, nothing like the midnight release of MW2.
