It's really random luck. On the same exact mobs on the same server using the same job and lvl 1 guy can get 5 in 30 min and someone else can go 5 hours without any. At that point I'd just reccomend abyssea pts since most of the people in them have it done and will let you free lot... or kill pets for decent xp and just get more dead faster
