That is what I have, it works, it shouldn't switch too soon, delay are made to slow it down after the end or after it starts.

Otherwise, just do an aftercast delay to swap back in idle according to your delay on weapon/ammo, but I just use that.

Wouldn't something like Rapid Shot screw it up as that makes ranged attacks pretty much instantaneous rather than having applicable delay?

Yeah I use a version of spellcast that doesn't use action type command or rule spell /rule... never seen that one before. ANd I looked on the windower site and I think they said default delay on ranged was like 1 sec from the time you hit ranged.

So technically i'd be possible to have a precast of Rapid Shot/Snapshot and still have the actual attack gain the benefits of your ideal ranged attack setup with a midcast?
