FF10 couldn't grasp the concept of difficulty. Everything was either too weak or killed you in one or two hits.

That was majorly due to the Sphere grid imo.

I remember nearly filling the grid on Yuna and Lulu before I even fought Omega. Went to fight Omega, and I killed him by smacking him with yuna's staff like 3 times. Was hilarious.

I hated Omega. I killed it so fast I didn't even have time to Lancet Nova.

I disliked a lot about FF10 actually. It had a great atmosphere and above-average music, but that's about as far as I can praise it. Most of the characters annoyed me and the Sphere grid was weird.

I actually fought Omega when he was challenging lol.

Ozma is by far the hardest post-game boss though imo.

I decked out my FF8 characters pretty high, but that omega weapon was just *** cheap. He had that meteor move, but instead of doing 200ish dmg per meteor, it did more like 800-1200 per hit ~_~

I liked Tidus, Auron and Yuna as characters, the rest kind of annoyed me.

If I had to pick an FF character I could relate to the most, Tidus would be it. His inner monologue was a major part of why I love FFX.

A lot of bosses in Final Fantasy are easily exploitable.

Card mod whichever card it was that gave 100 Holy Wars, make all three characters invincible, and then you can do anything in FF8.

Yeah, I tried winning in the non-holy war way, and it ended in disaster. Ended up using The End like a pussy.

My favorite standard turn-based RPG, I think, would have to be Lost Odyssey. Such a great game but disappointing that it was only on Xbox 360.

Holy wars were cheap, I never used them. But then I was one of the few people who actually fought Soulcage in FFIX inside the Iifa tree without a Phoenix down.

I never used Selphie.

Squall, Zell and Irvine were the best characters in that game power-wise.

Zell being the most powerful, then Irvine, then Squall.

Soulcage made me want to punch babies.

I tried fighting it like 100 times, Mustard Bomb always killed me, and when I finally did beat it, the game freaking crashed right after that. I beat it 3 different times and I could never continue.

Only just recently downloaded the ISO for it and beat it on my computer.

I actually already deleted it. You should be able to find it easily on thepiratebay though.

It was about 6 months ago that I played it. Not that recent, lol.

I had such a *** of a time killing him, until I realized after defeating him that you could simply revive-death him.

I friggin hate FF10 ><...the game was AMAZING....up until the stupid plot twist....then I wanted to club baby seals lol. The naration by the hero's voice actor, was amazing. The voice acting in general was awesome (except the Ranzos or w/e those lion things that Khimari was were called, and the Al Bedhs..their accents pissed me off lol sounded too fake). Story was decent... cut scenes were beautiful, but once that "dream" angle hit the storyline, I wanted to toss my disc out the window lol.

FF10 is one of my least favorite Final Fantasy games.

(I don't consider 12 or 13 Final Fantasy games, but if I did, they would both be below FF10)

I liked 12's fighting system...but the story was lackluster after playing through it....cool that Cid was evil in that one, but meh lol all in all the game wasn't that awesome. 13 however, i throughly enjoyed....and the ending was kinda sad

12 wasn't bad, per se. It's just not good.

13 is bad.

I liked some of 12's music, areas, and Marks.

12 just became a giant man hunt at the end lol..screw story i'm hunting marks...thats like all i did lol and some of their pop conditions were whack

edit: and how can you hate on Sazh aka "token" in FF13? LOL...grumpy old man...with a friggin bird's nest for hair..and guns... so much racism...damn SE lol no but really I did like 13..it was "linear" but guess what...most of the FF games are for the majority of said game lol. Ya some have open exploration of the world, but you can't really do anything in said towns until story progresses if you can manage to reach them lol...oh well, to each their own /my 2 cents

I like Ivalice as a world, as I loved FF:T, but the characters were awful in XII.

The only good characters were Balthier and Basch imo.
