So I asked someone who is somewhat familiar with the area who I could talk to. I will go ahead and tell you they are like 25-30 min outside the twin cities....with absolutely nothing to do. You will be in heaven, since all you will have to do is play video games.

They moved from Tactical turn based combat and challenging gameplay to HERPADERP HEAL AFTER EVERY FIGHT AND SAVE POINT EVERY 3 MINUTES DURRRRRRRR.
Even if you lost against a boss in XIII you could straight back against it. Where's the fun there? Like I said, square is pandering to casuals.

Also, i'm going to say it's going to be same with Diablos III.
Starcraft II = FFXIII graphics + Starcraft + 5-6 hours of actual gameplay.
Diablos III = FFXIII graphics + Diablos II + shitty story and it'll make 90%+ ratings i guarantee it.
Reason: Americans are idiots and will buy anything that has a fanbase and is new. Hense why GTA is popular, SCII is popular atm, WoW and Diablos III. They want old ***renewed where it would be better to expand your imagination and get involved in a different story.

White knight chronicles is the closest i've found for the ps3 so far. Its not too bad once you really figure out how it works. Its a lot like a mmo actually.

Did you complete the Trials by the way, cause I'd consider that post game content, the only thing you have is less choices because I'd say the story was bad ***. Maybe if you stopped bitching about how it's not turn based and you wanted a map enough to listen then you'd have gotten the story.

Ozma, Penance and hell even Yiazmat took way more preparation than ANY boss in XIII. And yes, I actually rate gameplay over graphics for an RPG. FFXIII tried to have a turn-based combat but sped it up, it didn't work as it's worse than an action game and worse than a turn based RPG. Also no world map.

The story was simple, it's not exactly hard to grasp. And yes, when Square enix takes a step backward and removes content that all JRPG fans love, and them simply passes it off as 'changes' I get pissed off. I love the Final Fantasy series, and I don't like watching it get bastardised because people are fan-boys and blinded. The trials were easy and took less than 4 hours to do.

And there are tons of good 3D turn based RPGs. Ask Ixe about Legend of Legaia.

Lost Odyssey and Blue dragon were tops. I'm playing Dragon Quest IX on the DS at the moment and it's really good.

Bu w.e you say. I highly doubt you even gave teh game any chance once you popped it in. The same thing most people who hated it said. It's funny though because they trash talk it yet they still completed every aspect of the game. Usually when I hate a game, I stop playing it.

Alyria is the most social female, gets groped a lot without provoking it by others, and Tairo ends up stabbing people for it. Cai is just a barrel of lols, I might be gay for him. If I wasn't straight.
Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
