Hmm my bad then, 2.0 seems way too *** low though.... I never go with minimum settings because they are always generally ***, what is recommended?

i would say just upgrade everything to a bit above requirement and it should be fine.
I only have 2.33 GHz and my computer still hit almost 3000 on the benchmark.

Then again I was doing alot of other stuff on the comp at the same time if that matters
The service pack shouldn't really matter, but if you're upgrading you might as well upgrade to Windows 7.

i play FFXI on my laptop and it always overheats when i play ffxi (tho i fixed that by putting my fan near me, full blast at me and the laptop xD)

Don't upgrade to SP3, iirc SP3 was ***and caused security problems so most people stopped at SP2. If you're gonna upgrade get W7. Vista eats up too much memory and XP is just too old, ***isn't gonna run that well on it. I've yet to have any problems on W7 playing any games, if someone does it's because they are using illegal game copies and don't know how to fix them.
Also, upgrade to a PC, *** mac. >_>

i prefer to have both xD
Macs for things like graphic design, photoshop, illustrator, and so on while PCs for gaming.

macs aren't that hard to use, it took me a week or so to get the hang of using one mouse button the OS itself.

it overheated for PSU as well (and graphic lag)
i think sometime this week i'm gonna go to best buy and check out cheapest price on a desktop for ffxiv

So because your school forced you to basically use macs they are better for graphics design? What exactly do they have that is better and how do they run PS and Illustrator better?

iMac is kinda cool for graphic design but definitely not worth the price.
