For anyone who wants a cheap 360 headset. Looks nice, and plugs into the controller rather than the system.
They make headsets that don't plug into the controller?

Other than that, I need a headset too, need to look into one of those.

So on Saturday I decide I'm going to play some Wii with the wife instead of me playing FFXI while she's watching TV. I dig out the controllers. They're dead. No biggie. I toss em on the charger (I have the rechargable battery packs. Good stuff), and we go back to watching TV.

A couple hours later I look over and notice the lights aren't blinking anymore (indicates done charging for you slow folks). We start it up yet again. Imagine my surprise when I'm not getting the little hand cursor on screen. I move my sensor bar around to try to make sure I'm hitting it properly. Finally I decide to see if something is pinching the bar's cord.

*** thing was severed. No wonder it didn't work.

So now I've got to go pick up a new sensor bar.

I bring donuts in on Friday mornings. For no particular reason or anything, no one else does it, I don't split the cost or anything.

Last Friday, my boss comes into my office and says: "I appreciate you bringing in donuts, but can you bring something else? <Enter stuff I couldn't understand because she has a thick accent>" which I assumed was her explaining that she did not have the will power to not eat the donuts.

I'm still irritated by it, but I'm not sure what to do. I was told to stick a piece of lettuce in the box too, but I don't think the joke would go over well with her.

It was also suggested to just stop bringing them in, but that seems pretty spiteful.

It's a pretty small office so I'd like to avoid any awkwardness

Happened to me (freak vacuum accident). Those cords are so flimsy. I just had my friend's mom order me a new one (she works for nintendo, so it was cheap). I feel for ya though.

The headset that comes with the gold membership and keypad for your controller plugs into the console.

I say, do the lettuce thing. Situational comedy is always a great way to lighten the mood, and I'm sure your Boss(Being a woman) will enjoy it.

Short, simple, to the point, laugh a few, move on. All will be well

Well, I'm a pushover Spence, but I'd pop by her office or whatever and ask her what she'd like instead of a donut in a casual, friendly manner when you have a free minute.

That's about it.

Or, I'd be so stupidly spiteful and make brownies.

Yeah, just looked em up in the nintendo store. $7.50. As long as it's not like $15 shipping, that's not bad at all.

Or you can take 2 lit candles, and use them instead. All the bar does is emit infrared light for the controller to pick up. Candles can work as a replacement.

No I wasn't :/

It's something healthy, and it's something for everyone. It's a nice gesture for bitchy people "watching their weight".

I can't get a vegetable tray with dips at Tim Hortons drive-thru though. I get breakfast there on Fridays, and is why I started to pick up donuts as well

I saw that on youtube. Not going to put candles that close to my TV =X

The shipping is $5 for standard (2-8 business days) or $10 for 'UPS Blue' (3-4 business days).

I wouldn't either, just suggesting :P Totally go with UPS Blue, then call them up bitching when the blue man group doesn't deliver your package.

I'm debating. I'm not in a rush, but with my luck it wouldn't get here until next week. I wanted it by this weekend so we could play.

I could also go to gamestop or walmart and pick one up, but I'm not sure on if they have any that aren't third party.

Wife wants me to pick up the New Mario Bros game anyway so maybe I'll just go to GameStop...

Decisions, decisions...

Spence, I would just stop bringing them in. When someone asks why just tell them that they weren't appreciated.
