Well, gear at 75. Just general gear SMNs use, whether includes BP gear or -perp gear or skill w/e, just want some ideas what to aim for
#1 Yinyang robe, evoker's ring.
Summoning Belt & Earring.
Relic feet and hands.
Hedgehob Bomb for ammo slot.
Summoner's Torque.
Fay Crozier is nice unless you prefer to carry around hq staves.
Staff strap.
Some people like to use the Austere/Penance gear for SMN skill and Blood pact minus duration.
Go get your avatar gear. ZNM Puk drops Garuda head. Chigoe in Grauberg drops Shiva feet. There is a fenrir's crown.

MP gear is nice for some situations but I always favored HMP
- perpetuation, - BP gear
I've found gear that improves acc/atk for avatars to be garbage (af pants were nice as there weren't many alternatives back then)

As much as burns just gimp you, its hard to say no to them when you seeking as smn

You can use shiva to solo crabs in kuftal tunnel at your level. Blizz4, Sleepga2, rest & repeat. Do this at cape terrigan entrance. That offers you a quick way to get there, fov buffs if you want and close zone if you get in trouble.
I never liked doing bombs, it's too boring. After Kuftal I went to the tree and fought mandy's or whatever with carby.
At around 200 I went to azouph isle staging point and used leviathan to fight imps. Garuda works too but leviathan is immune to amnesia. Run to 17 feet from imp and assault. When avatar gets there do a blood pact and run towards gate. Make sure you are at least 45 feet from mob and be ready to release and/or summon a new avatar. It should take 3 blood pacts to kill an Imp. You can use the strip of grass in front of the gate to fight the imp. Just keep swapping sides with it. (Run to gate, wait till you have to resummon avatar. Imp will come to avatar, when its fighting run to other side and wait.)
You don't need to actually fight to get smn skill ups. You can sit in Al Zahbi or in a town in the past outside of your mog house and cast summons with blood pact: wards all day. But if you want to learn how to be a smn it's probably better to fight mobs.
Put carby on a mob, blood pact if you want, run off 45-50 feet. You need about 45 feet to cast an avatar. If you have been fighting a mob with carby and you put carby away or it gets killed and you recast, you do not need to tell carby to attack. Run away from the mob so you don't get hit, your avatar will automatically go after the mob.
This could go wrong depending on where your avatar shows up. You may need to run past the mob if your avatar is behind you, but knowing that your avatar will auto attack and you do not need to assault the mob helps.

Not sure about Citag, s/he's new. Kiriyu is just an in-out kinda person. Says one thing every three days that every guy makes a big fuss over. Ludoggy gets really defensive since she's asian and underage (might be 18 now).
Artem is the wayward soul that makes you ponder the meaning of life by constantly reminding us life can suck. But he deals, and so do we. About the same for Savannah, except people are more "AWH!" to her because of a vagina involved.
Dasva is the ex military man (as is Krizz but this doesn't apply to him) who hates the world and plots a way to destroy most of it.
Number2 is kinda like a mix between Cai and I; never bashes, likes to laugh and has odd avatars. His current suits a lot of the convos this LS gets into. Barti is most well known for his moustache. He gives mousatche rides for a fee. I'm missing a few people but whatever. CARRY ON!
