So last night on FFXI, i was bored as hell so i was sitting with Osmin (or soemthing like that aka Yoda) and his "son" (Deadlypoison or something) and a few other random people and just talking and i was so bored i shouted random things in whitegate. lol (I was NIN/DNC with the lfp comment of "I don't tank. /n But I can pull :D!!!" and didn't get a party til like way late when i changed to dnc/nin lol a powerlevel from a friend and it was a failpl cuz one of the guys i was with well i swear he's a retard.
story on why at 8am EST (aka brb a few)

the names have been changed to protect the innocent. based on a true story.
So last night, i randomly waved to some guy, let's call him Carlos, that was lfp (he's a nin/war) and he kept "checking" me out (terrible pun) and /told me "party?" Me being NIN/DNC i jump up thinking "holy crap a party invite!
Before this, my friend, let's call him Yugi, told me that if i got a party together, he'd powerlevel us. So i told Carlos about this and Carlos got 4 more people. I told him i was gonna change to DNC/NIN because i wanna lfp later this weekend as NIN/DNC for a smn burn grp.
I go change jobs, get my gear and get to Valkurm Dunes (yay) and i get there and i see Carlos with 2 other people invited already (let's call them Billy and Mandy). After a few minutes, we get one person, who was afk by us, to join, let's call him Jay, and we get the last person who got teleported nearby, let's call him Silent Bob.
OK so while we were waiting for Silent bob to get to the dunes, Carlos thought he could take on a goblin (he's like 22ish NIN) he does and guess what, Me, Carlos and Billy were the ones fighting it while Jay and Mandy were afkish. By the time they got back all three of us were own'd, i leveled down to 9 (i curse thee!!) and when Silent Bob came to dunes he's like "WTF happened." minutes later Yugi came by and raised us all, having to raise Carlos twice (he said no to the first raise which is common, i've had it happen before since i'm a WHM)
So once we were all unweakened and ready, we ran out to the Lizzy camp by Highlands zone. Yugi was cool enough to dia and dia2 each goblin and the bats in our path (which was humorous to me) and we go to the camp. Noone was there (thank god) and so Carlos, who was the party leader at the time, levelsynced us to the lvl10. Here's where it starts getting intresting.
After book buffs and getting Page1, we start to fight our first mob. First kill, i level back to lvl 10 and Carlos thought it would be a good idea to sync to me so what does he do? take off level sync. By this time i got annoyed by Carlos and told him to just pass the lead to me, which he did. I sync us up and i try to get the party in order.
After rebuffs and stuff, we finally get the exp going. Kill 1 - okay. Kill 2 - okay; mind you the PLer was pulling for us, which was a damn good idea because Carlos wanted to pull w/ provoke and what the PLer did was dia a Lizzy, ran by other lizzies and goblins and got hate from them via link. Epic win you might think but that's not how it all went down.
3rd mob, by then i was like "screw it i'm using /assist on Carlos" and i do and he had a random lizzy targetted and we started attacking it when suddenly, he changes his target to another lizzy and BAM party wipe start. PLer was having a hard time keeping us healed and somehow the goblins he pulled were agroing us (i think Carlos povoked them at some point) i managed to survive but 3 people didn't. I feel annoyed so i /told carlos to stick to one at a time.
It was fine for a while then we got the 7 lizzies for page and Billy was like "we need a rabbit" i ask Yugi if he could get a rabbit for us but he didn't, so Jay decided to dualbox on his other account, let's call that character Hulk, and while we were fighting the mobs from Yugi, Hulk brought 3 rabbits + a few goblins.
I think "hey cool two powerlevelers! this should get better" well it didn't.
I tell Carlos tho get a rabbit. He Provokes a goblin instead as me and Billy were taking on a rabbit (at least for 40 second we were attacking it) and party wipe #2 happened. Yugi is like "***!" JAy/Hulk is like "God Damnit" I'm sitting there going "*** *** ***" we managed to kill the rabbit and i /help'd the goblin and had the plers nuke the ***outa it. 4 people died that time (only me and Billy. The PLers got rid of all the mobs, only 4 of us were able to finish the page (1 decided not to bother with getting a page and the other was Carlos)
Second time around wasn't as bad. I got used to Carlos and people were getting tired so we disbanded after the second page1 was done. He /asked me where iw as going and i just said <sleepga> and logged.

around that time Im so tired from work and events in the LS, that my nice (what little I usually possess) flies out the window and that little bit of exp i want becomes some sort of mission from god where anyone in my path becomes the enemy and must die.
