In any case, it's sounding like I need to either mount a coupe, or get off my lazy *** and farm.
Adamantoise is a hard HNM to bot since it has a very large pop area. But since you lack the friends with that kind of skill... Sorry. =(

Mai's the only person I play with consistently. While she's a RDM (And we've killed quite a bit on my THF), she is average at best. Mostly due to her lax and anti-leet nature.
Save your seals and save up. You might even get lucky on your orb for KS99 and save yourself a couple million.

On that subject, I need to study and spam the KS30s so I can get a pair of Destroyers.
KS99 however, will need more manpower than I have. Of course, I could try mercing it to a shell that will do the fight and allow me the Black Belt item.

Destroyers are from double dragoonian, copycat, and royal ramble. That is about the order in difficulty of them and reverse order of most profitable over time.
DD can be dou'd I think.
Copycat can be done with 4 with some risk pretty easy with 5.
Royal ramble seems kinda luck based I know people have an easy time I've personally watched my DDs and tank and main healer (go go hate reset) drop like flies even without casting magic on the cardians.And that was with full pt.

Double Dragonian can be duoed with 2 SCHs easily as long as you don't get hit with Chaos Blade.
I've had those same kind of things happen that Dasva said with Royale Ramble. Not sure what kill order he does, but we usually do BLM, PLD, WHM, since the WHM can be held forever. I've done it with 4, but people have to know what they're doing and have some kind of merits/gear. I've done it with DNC, BLU, MNK, RDM. DNC starts off by meleeing and soloing the PLD and holding the WHM while BLU, MNK, and RDM take BLM. After BLM dies, all on the PLD. @ 25% or so, DNC kites the WHM and the other 3 finish off the PLD, then everyone on the WHM. DNC had Fan Dance, which really helps.
If I'm with people I know I will 4 blm Copycat like my old KSNM ls. But with people of unknown skill I want a 5th ES sleep even if it is rdm since I don't like risking a loss with 30 seals.
Man. Does anyone remember those sweet days of AFK'ing at fortications while playing another game or reading a book or cooking a meal? I miss those days when the exp rocked.
Double Dragonian looks interesting, but knowing me, I'd pull hate and die right off.
Bah I should sell my enfeebling earring. It hardly gets any use and I could use the cash... but they sell like 1 every 10 days on ah and there is 2 up already.

On a side note: There sure seems to be quite a bit of people who want this horn. I lost claim the first time, and it's looking like I'll lose it again after seeing that Taru come flying out of nowhere. -.-
Weird I had no competetion like a year ago. Was so bad when I popped the HNM on thf/rng... yeah died pretty quick. I was able to come back on blm/rdm. That also didn't work so good. Came back as a rdm/nin. And even with shouting for help cause part way thru I noticed I only had like 30 shihei and no bags... I still didn't get anyone near me for like another 15 min. Of course no one helped just got a crowd of peopel hoping I'd die.

I probably should've done the same. Either that, or hunted down a crafter that wanted them.

Yeah crafting there on the spot between 16 min pops saves you so much inventory space so you don't have to toss 1 bajillion skins/hides.
Lol hardest FOVNM I've ever won. Starts off immune to direct magic dmg. So I start bio2ing it and running in circles forever and getting my lol warp club out (not to self bring a dagger next time) and start enaero2ing him whenever I can.
Kinda mess up a few times early on and didn't count shadows right/ maccros didn't fire and get hit with encurse. Yeah -50% hp/mp/attack speed and recast timers and movement speed. THat was ouchie
Eventually after 25 minutes of runing around with the occassionally hits as long as my utsesmi lasted enaero2 finally broke it's resistance enough for me to get some blizzard 3s off. Chainspell 2 of them ftw since it was pretty resistant to bind/gravity at taht time and my timers weren't up.
