PT isn't the whole game :o

/rng horribly out DMG's /nin as /nin adds no offensive value lol, so technically /dnc and /rng > /nin(Seeing as both do have acc bonus and ***like that) Sam/Rng is FUN and /dnc is only for solo/campaign, and in situations with mobs who have DMGing TP moves, are DD's even meleeing besides a tank? Even then the tank may not melee, SAM gets Meditate, they don't have to melee :o

Idk I don't like the idea of running way out for optimium bow range... if they used guns or even xbow it wouldn't be as bad but you lose a bit of time doing that. Though I suppose you can suck it up and just fire point blank

I doubt he full times it :o, THF is a lot of DoT and M.Kris kinda kills that compared to S kukri, Situation etc etc,

I don't have the Earring for /drg, but /drg is hella fun lol, if we are excluded Polearm, I'd say that /rng w/ Soboro would beat out /drg /war due to having piercing, merits gear etc etc It is HELLA fun though.

Ignore STR DEX mods, ATK adds the most to penta, well don't ignore them, but you know what I mean, stack atk and some str, you should have enough acc naturally.

Yeah... But /nin is nice for things that have AoE tp moves and are absorbed by shadows like Dynamis. As well as just plain tanking since Seigan Third Eye isn't going to keep you alive. Even if you /dnc, that only works on mobs that are fairly weak otherwise you won't be able to keep up on cures with your timers.

Therefore... Nin is probably the most overall useful sub for Sam, just like most DD jobs. Then /war and /drg for DD'ing / merit parties. After that ya have /rng and /dnc for situational stuff. Only time I ever /dnc is campaign or if I'm doing FoV / skilling up / farming things that are TW-EM or T. And even then... Most of the time I use Rindomaru over Soboro for the simple fact that I have way more TP than I can use with timers anyway. No real need to feed the mob more TP and get back more TP if my ws's will do crap dmg and I can't use all the TP.

/rng is decent for mobs that are weak to piercing and you can't melee on. That's about it though.

Actually it's dot isn't that much worse. That being said it changes how thf does dmg. It brings it from a primarily DoT job to a rather decent portion of your dmg being ws. Which means of course your ws build and such becomes even more important. Well and actually getting good seperate SA and TA ws maccros since you will be splitting them. I've definitely done DE and litterally had 40 something tp after cause of timing and then 70 something next attack round.

Not everything AoE's :/, /nin is the most useful defensive sub for SAM, the weakest DMG wise, I still solo w/ Soboro and I can solo T~Weak VT easy, you may say ur just sitting on TP, but when you start getting smacked around and that 200% TP pool just disappears from cures you'll be glad it was there, I also just WS at 100% if I need too, as for Campagin, I 5 hit Gkt, and I tank, by the time the animation for Waltz II is over you have about 3-4 sec till recast, you can spam it np, also, It's Drain Samba II + Soboro that is awesome, 450*8/100 per hit ~36 per hit, that adds up.

I haven't merited on SAM in a while, Hasso/Seigan + Casts = me /rage, but I /war for Einherjar, basically me saying *** yo AoEs! Sam/Nin makes me sad elvaan, and even then, I haven't Einherjar'd as SAM in a while >_>

Edit**

@Das Mkris, Really? I had not tried it personally, but that does make sense, put emphasis on WS build and ***.

Hmm...well my numbers seem to get lower when I started messing with number of slots I change to STR. My TP setup gives a lot of ACC with little ATK. I do a lot better than I did before I changed to mainly ACC. I don't miss often like I did before I went ACC stacking.

All slots except belt, body and feet change to STR pieces for Penta. I had a RNG doing Slugshot for 800-1k @ lv 55 so that's what made me think I'm not doing good enough dmg with Penta.

@DAS Think they'd give public *** before getting implants to get attention.

Lol avatars favor... yeah. At least it lowers prep cost by 2.

"Reduces overall damage dealt by ~15%, regardless of type, Does not reduce overall damage taken, The favor's effect is only given if you are within 10" of the Avatar. Diabolos's Favor is a beneficial status effect that grants Refresh until it wears off or is removed. Afflicted/Benefiting characters recover MP over time. The effect increases the longer it remains active, starting with 1 MP per tick, up to a maximum of 3 MP per tick"

The way I think of it, what does ur normal melee hit do? x5 and ur penta should be doing more then that, +/- , I was doing ~700 Avg Rampage at 55 as WAR, and my SAM didn't have a notable WS till 57 lol, I'd say you can be near 700 avg np,
