Everyone has mental issues, some experience it as a problem though while others arent aware of the fact that they have mental issues... atleast thats what I like to think.
I took all the standard tests couple of years ago, my psychiatrist wanted to put me on meds. I didnt feel like that, I've developed my own little tricks and selfdestructive ways to deal with w/e goes on in my head. But atleast to the outside world my life seems normal.
And sometimes for a while I forget that everything is not all right, and it goes well for months... but then again for no reason it just kicks you in the nuts from one day on another and you just have to deal with it.
I dont know whats worse.
Going to a psychiatrists and get whatever numbs my frenzied mind and give in to the fact that I've failed in life to modern society's rules.
Or continue dealing with ***in my own way of which I know it'll not end well in the long run.
In the end, a lot of people have it worse, suck it up and continue. Amen.

As do most people. "Self-destructive" is sort of the problem there. The line between "coping mechanism" and "disorder" gets blurry really fast for some people.
Also, to be pedantic and wet towelish, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders are all very different things despite frequent comorbidity.
Those with self-aggrandizing-type personality disorders can do very well in this world.
Even becoming president.
All it takes is the ability to not give a damn about anyone else getting hurt for your benefit.

My pills are free. And I was getting to the point I couldn't go to my university because I had such bad anxiety and nervous tummy. I rather be like this compared to not being able to function. Not every one reacts to pills the same way.
