When I ate meat I used to appreciate the taste of bacon alot, now I just stay away from meat. Vegetarian can be very good and it leaves me less tired afterwards.

I try my best not to mock my vegetarian/vegan friends/family for the sake of those that are as such for health reasons. But when some of them literally cry murder any time there's a picture of a family picnic/BBQ...they make it very difficult.
One of these days humans won't be apex predators and we shall reap what we have sewn, but until then, I'm going to enjoy every last second of it.

Yeah. My cousins and their kids all have a congenital cardiac issue that comes from their mother's side of the family (one of my cousins died from it, this was almost 30 years ago and it was less well known, doctors couldn't figure out exactly what was happening, we all went and had to have these tests done before they pinpointed the origin. Huge mess.). They all eat vegetarian for the most part because of it.
They save meat for special occasions. Big juicy hamburgers on birthdays, etc.

They are never born. They are never bred or raised.
they never feel the warm gentle kiss of the sun on their backs, they never smell the crisp clean scent of fresh cut grass or hay. They never get to nuzzle their mates or their young in the green pastures.

I don't really care what other people do, nor am I happy enough with my decisions to advocate them. life is good.
I had a lady tell me she doesn't eat anything with brown eyes. so fish and chickens were OK, I guess?. I thought that was a good one.
