Cheese and hot dogs never made sense to me.

It's weird, because I'm a cheese fiend, being from Wisconsin and all. Maybe I just haven't used the right cheese...

Well, to be fair.

Most of the time if I'm eating a "cheese" dog, it's actually never actual cheese. It's American cheese (with Greek sauce) or Nacho cheese (with chili sauce), both of which are "cheese flavored dairy products," not actual cheese.

Yeah, I've been Jonesing for hot dogs myself recently. Bought some turkey dogs to grill up, but I've got all the other delicious stuff leftover from the past few days to go through.

Made grilled sesame ginger Mahi Mahi last night (was excellent).

Chicken burgers are leftover from Sunday, and I threw some garlic chicken sausage on the grill last night as to not waste the coals on just ~6 minutes for the fish.

*makes a spectacles fixing motion, despite not wearing any*
I shall start at the top.

The object in question is a spray for the hero in Overwatch named D.Va or Diva as she is referred to. The spray is used by pressing T on the keyboard and it projects that image onto an object, generally wall.

The spray is of a can of salt. The salt signifies the opponent being "salty" which means upset or bitter over what was just done to them. I'm not sure the origin, but I believe it has to due with tears having a salty flavor.

So in essence, what my client would like to do is to "pwn" or "own" an enemy team using D.Va then press the spray key so that they see the can of salt, signifying they are indeed "salty" and thus possibly triggering additional "saltyness" from his adversary.

*shuffles papers*
The defense rests.

No wonder you're so damp...

I hate everything about hot dogs.... bratwurst or gtfo!!!

hot dogs are the prime example of the USA taking something awesome, in this case a sausage, removing all the flavor from it, mass producing it with horrific machines for mass consumption..

I want to slap it out of your hand....

Brats are great. Italian sausage is great.

But I also like hot dogs.

Hot dogs have to be done just so, though.

Home hot dogs must be grilled. Grilling unlocks a very specific consistency in the skin that's crisps it up and gives it a nice snap each bite.

Boiled dogs are no. Period.

From restaurants a griddle-grilled (such as my favorite hot dog joint) or rolling cooker are okay, but the dog must have a chili or Greek sauce to compliment it.

Hot dogs are sort of a mainstay of where I'm from, as we've discussed before. I only eat them about once every month or two anymore, but when I do, I enjoy them dammit.

Kind of related...Identifiers of being raised by Nazis:

Do NOT complain about food. Always try the cook's food. Eat around it if it displeases you.

Do NOT request someone make you something different. <--- This has been a tooth-grinder with the older one lately, and the beau always gives in.

YOU ARE NOT EXCUSED FROM THE TABLE UNTIL EVERYONE IS FINISHED!!!

I didn't realize how ticked off I get about people not observing the etiquette that I was conditioned with until about five or six years ago.

/eye twitch

EDIT: New one that I'm tacking on: NO PHONES AT THE TABLE!

I, uh.

*blinks*

I...

*blinks again*

I must now go back and recount entire portions of my childhood.

Because my mother is apparently a Nazi.

I mean, yeah I knew we've got a lot of quasi-German/Prussian/HRE in the bloodlines, but I thought we were all over here back in like 1890 at the latest...

Edit: But Zah is right. So true. So fierce.

AMG Zah is just laying it on with the Linda'isms!

Onbiously we didn't have cell phones, but my mom would answer the phone if anyone called during dinner hours (~5-7 p.m.) and verbally berate them for calling during dinner!

My friends, telemarketers, other family, it didn't matter.

She let them have it!
