I don't think DW has an annoying fanbase per se, though every fan base certainly has annoying people. I just think some fans that really like DW and really hate BBT would make that particular swap hilarious.
And I think the guy who draws XKCD is well aware of that fact.
BBT is awful. I got stuck watching a few episodes in the hospital once because I was having testing done and it was on a television I couldn't change the channel for.
It's just like, "this isn't nerd humor. This is what some jackass in a suit thinks nerd humor is."
Actually it's a lot like if someone read XKCD, missed a lot of the jokes, but then made a series out of it anyway because they thought it would sell, but then got it wrong because they didn't understand what made it funny in the first place.

Ugh. It's tempting.
With overcast and rain at least we'd nudge the temperature up a little. It's been bright and sunny and freezing here today. Actually had some snow yesterday morning while the clouds lingered, or so I hear. I didn't see it, but my sources are credible. I didn't crawl out of my cave until like 2:00.
