I never understood the appeal of having a sharp metal object shoved into your nipple. It's not like an ear or lip piercing where the average person can see it and you can show off your cool studs/rings/whatever.

One buddy from college had her nipples pierced. One ended up getting infected six months after. I don't know if there's actually any correlation to piercing and mastitis, but she blames her piercings on her bouts with it.

For me it gets lumped in with everything else people do that doesn't jive with my particular viewpoints and personality: "Whatever, y'all, if it doesn't hurt me or mine I don't give a *** what you do".
The only exception to that is people who like mayonnaise, because consuming that is basically a sign you've given up on life and you need to know that you don't have to live that way
