But really, most of the time we played Conker's Bad Fur Day, NFL Blitz, Golden Eye, and Perfect Dark while drinking Milwaukee's Best Ice (Beast). Oh, and we watched a lot of really stupid movies. I remember one day it was gross outside like, freezing rain, the whole nine yards, and my wife and I had swung by the house to see if anyone was up to anything. They weren't. And then we took a seat on the couch and, along with one of my brothers and another of our friends, watched Tom Arnold in Carpool from beginning to end, and it wasn't until the credits were rolling that we looked each other in the eye, asked what the hell just happened, and promised never to speak of it to each other again. drop a fish trough an open window.

We took a trip to see family around his second birthday, and started basically as soon as we got back (roughly two weeks ago). He's not perfect as far as "getting things in the right place when it's showtime" go, but he's actually been outstanding at controlling it until that point. No public accidents, and hasn't woken up anything but dry in over a week. We've been using this as our guide. Not sure it would work for every kid, but it's been magic for us.
