Kudos for Scarface, as that was on TV last night (still not sure how they can broadcast that, half of the dialogue is censored...) and I ended up watching a large chunk of it while half-conscious on the couch lol.

Yeah...Scarface...on cable...

Wait. I have a theory.

Maybe the version on cable is the only one that's been watched by all the people who glorify that movie and Tony Montana. Maybe they've got a drastically altered idea of what actually happened because...censorship.

...probably not.

But it makes more sense.

The hell is wrong with people.

damn I missed it... /shrug
I have a hard time staying awake during broadcast commercials anyways...I probably would have missed the ending.

oh...and just in case it was unclear to anyone. I'm probably psychotic.

on the one hand I like rooks and I think he has done a lot of good things for the site and he seems like a nice kid...and on the other hand I have a lit molotov cocktail with a short fuse and none of...whatever it is that stops other people from throwing them...

Is this idiot trying to support terrorists?

why serbia?

why mel gibson?

is this some kind of anti-semitic propoganda?

why $30?

why does he 'love' george? near as we can tell he's some kind of slumlord in belgrade?

so I was out boozing it up a bit before I mowed the lawn on sunday, & one of the two old timers I drink with has a tumor growing out of his hand. I've been trying to get him to go see a doctor for weeks, but he won't, so now I've tried to move on to shaming him. I named the tumor "master" and him "blaster" (old mad max reference) because the tumor is taking control & he's just the big dumb retard it rides around on. well I was halfway into a whiskey induced tongue lashing when I noticed the other old timer wasn't impressed. I could tell he was thinking about telling this 'nice kid' to *** right off, so I slowed my verbal abuse to a crawl. old drunk #2 then says "hey jackass, I've got a big tumor right here, & points to the bottom of his jaw where I hadn't noticed a decent sized tumor building up.

"well, ***..." I muttered. then came to the horrible realization that they'd be dead in a few years & I'd be stuck drinking all alone on sunday mornings. that, my comrades, is going to blow.

Yes ma'am! I saw every episode. I hope they put out a season two; Tina Fey's place is on television in one form or another. Seriously, that woman is a genius. As for her choice in casting... Jane Krakowski to me will always ALWAYS be Jenna Maroney. And I seriously miss me some Tracy.

Still, D'fwan cracks me up on that show.

I think you underestimate the confidence of a man who is at once William Wallace, Mad Max, Martin Riggs, and Porter.

Exactly what I thought when I saw Krakowski's character. Then again, Ellie Kemper is basically the same character she was on 'The Office'.

Well, it's like that character, only with more of a spine. But I see what you're saying. There are two types of actors, from what I've seen: actors who can flawlessly convince you they are entirely different people from movie to movie (Tom Hanks, Christian Bale) and those who play the same character from movie to movie (John Wayne, Arnold Schwarzenegger). Ellie belongs to the latter category. But, oftentimes we put them in those movies or tv shows because they fit a specific bill and it's like putting the same character in a slightly new setting.

/rubs temples

the point is he could be mother teresa it doesn't matter... he walked right into it... then he fell in it...and then he started making snow angels in it... either he never caught on that flavin and I were yanking him or he was playing along the whole time either way the morning went by quickly...which is really the only point.

we had given him an atomic super wedgie and then put his head in the toilet for the chocolate swirly and he started complaining that the water was too cold.... all he had to do was walk away and he would have been given safe passage through the wasteland...

Finding birthday presents for children can be a pain <.<;

To whom it may concern,

Birthday presents for children -- of either gender -- are quite easy. People make it far, far too difficult.

The list of can't-miss gifts is as follows:

- ponies
- puppies
- BB guns
- firecrackers
- caffeinated beverages
- chocolate
- anything that makes fart noises

You needn't make this so difficult.

Signed,

The Consortium of World's Best Uncles
